The rep is nowhere close to the gen. It also doesn't give you much room to size it properly. If your wrist in 7.5" or larger your should be okay. I'd save your money though. Heritage looks great on a gen calf strap, or save up for the gen band.

Don't waste your time and money with this guy. I bought a white wings dial off of him and it arrived scratched. Won't respond to my requests for a refund or replacement.

I know of two reps of the millgaus. They both suck. First uses the incorrect datejust case and band with a millgauss dial. Clearly not right since one of the best things about the GEN is its large size. They do make a 40mm case size REP but it's even worse than the 37mm version. They took the same small dial and just increased the size of the bezel. I'll be first in line when they finally get a good rep of this watch. It should be pretty simple. No mag or date to screw up. Band shouldn't be a problem. As far has how rare the gen is, it's a little scarce but they can be found. It's unlikely that you'll be able to get a good deal (below MSRP) on one. The green tinted crystal is very rare. I have yet to see one in person. Some dealers are selling them for quite a bit above MSRP. I could see this version appreciating in the future.

Nobody has mentioned the Rolex GMT2 Ceramic. Asian with the incorrect handstack is under $200. Great watch IMO.

As for me as well, it depends what I am wearing. Today for example I had a french cuff shirt on with Mont Blanc cufflinks. My MB chrono was the natural choice. I have several watches, some gens other replica but I find myself wearing my PAM (rep) the most. Comfortable, easy to read and just looks damn good. As for me as well, it depends what I am wearing.
