I recently got a PAM 356 Daylight. But the crownguard has come loose. Is it just as simple as finding a mini screwdriver and tightening it down? Or should I dab some superglue into the screwholes to secure it?
It's been sent! Just got to wait now....the worst part! haha
Ended up getting a 2nd watch, as the first one he showed me had quite a squint right sub-dial hand.
The one I ended up getting sent is perfect. Everything aligns 100%
I've gone with the PAM 356! Paid. Just waiting for QC pics in a couple days.
Mind if I message them to you when they arrive, seeing as you're far more of an expert than I am.
I'm going to go with Toro, im afraid. Get the black leather strap version. As I get a 10% discount if I use Western Union.
Then I'll get the box set from AOO, which is $45, only $10 more than a rubber strap, and the strap is included in the box-set. So, effectively getting the box for $10.
The 356 is cheaper anyway (the one you recommended). So I think I'll go with that!
Spoke to Perfect clones, and the only one they have in stock is a steel bracelet one. Which is slightly cheaper. But I just don't like a Panerai on steel bracelets.
Awesome!
Does the added complication of the chrono add any issues? I've always gone with the mentality that simpler is perhaps better when it comes to rep movements.
I'm 'umming and ahing' about what model to get. I do like the Daylight. But I do have reasonably small wrists. So not sure if the buttons for the chrono add too much bulk.
Also not sure whether to go black or brown strap. I'll probably get a rubber one too for more 'outdoor' usage.
AHHHH, so you mean the hand doesn't always sit 'flush' on the markers?
So, the equivalent of the minute hand landing half way between 44 and 45 minutes?
Also looking at getting a box (love the Panerai box). Thinking AOOTime is the best option. Theirs appears to be the same as Toro's, as a fraction of the price
Thanks for the tip mate. Think I've found it on their site. Not sure if I'm allowed to link to specific ones. But is it the "Pam 356O Noob Daylight"? that you were talking about?
So, I was looking at a 'noob factory' Panerai (can't remember the model number) sold by TS Watches. But their website seems to have gone down. Also emailed them and received no response unfortunately.
Been looking at the various dealers. However, I'm always sceptical about how much they big up their various models.
Could anyone recommend the best 'bang for buck' Panerai Radiomir dealer? I don't really want to spend over $300...
