...but i still dont know if i could pull off the diamond bezel. angus told me he can get it with the regular bezel....im between this and the blackbird with the bracelet.

Sounds like a plan, where is the best place to buy the gen strap? i would like a leather one..

if i get a white face, what rubber strap would suit, color wise?

the only options for a genuine breit rubber strap are black and blue....i would think black would be your best bet. you can find em online for around $75.

im contemplating buying my 4th bce. yes i know it sounds weird, but i just love these things. i recently saw a blue face bce and it looked great, but i havent found any pics of a blue dial while searching through forum. im looking for the one with silver hands and double AR.

not a bad price at all...if it the 28k high beat 7750 mvmt. the cost of a genuine croc leather will run you around $400....is it worth it to me?...absolutely not. the rep straps for breitling are of great quality...in my opinion. the biggest flaw for most of the older breitling reps is the lack of Ar (anti-reflective coating). if you never owned a watch that had AR this probably wont bother you, but i know atleast for me.... once i bought a watch with AR....i now need my reps to have it. all-in-all you gotta good rep at a good price.

I got it sized OK, not great...A little too loose, if I can take 1 of the end links off, the half sized 1's it will be perfect however i'm having trouble getting that last mini link out, gona just bring it in to have a watchsmith take it out if I cant figure it out...The last link were both sides of the link are screwed in, were as the normal links have a screw on 1 side...Can those links before the clasp be removed or am I having trouble because its not meant too?

hands down the cousteau diver. this one is easy...atleast in my opinion. either the 06 or 07 version. by far the most "genuine" feeling rep i own.

im going to have to disagree with the majority. i have had 2 steelfish's and a couple bce's and i have to say i think the evo is a much better rep. just my opinion...i could be bias though...i much prefer a chrono watch. i think the bracelet is much nicer and overall better construction of the case. ruby just got updated bce's with AMAZING AR and correct dial colors. very nice indeed.

i dont wear gold myself, but that TT bce with the TT bracelet looks amazing!!! congrats on all the new toys you got today.

i got the price down to $3100 with the pro II bracelet and she threw in a black calf leather strap. the pics i posted above re not mine...i will receive mine in 10 business days. she only had the blue face and i really wanted the black so she had to special order it for me. i will post a bunch of pics when i get it.

i ordered the ss version....i didnt get the blacksteel. i think the blacksteel is a limited edtion of 2000...very hard to get. this is the exact watch i got.

Current timescales for forthcoming reps seems to be a painful process these days, I remember when they were firing them out every few weeks or so. The whole Aquatimer (CD07 and white standard chrono) mess and SD delay just seem par for the course these days, so much that my 'wants' get perpetually bumped.

i do have to agree with ya. i dont know if they are holding out on releasing these new reps or if they are seriously having this much trouble trying to get it correct.

just ordered the gen...black face with ss bracelet. this is by far my favorite breitling so i thought i would spring for the real deal. ill post some pics when i get it.

i have both and i can tell you...spend the extra $40!!! the ultimate has the correct silver hands as opposed to the black hands on the first gen.....and the big thing, atleast for me is the double sided ar on the ultimate compared to only single sided ar on the 1st gen.

im 99% sure he is not selling the "ulitmate" for that price. his is the first generation...i believe. if not, prince please email me so i can pick up a couple.

is this over $20?? if you received the watch and it was fine...then you see a scratch....im surprised the dealer is taking it back. just pay the $20 and be done with it....you should be happy the dealer is fixing this for you...especially since this problem was found after your initial inspection.
