i'm not sure what all the fuss is about... i scored a 5th gen just a couple months back... and it was mint!

werd... the 42 has been a long standing rep for good reason... i've bought two myself.

... idk... the 42 is really nice (i own two) the bracelet seems to be the weakest link (no pun intended)...if i could replace that with a gen or a really nice substitute...i'd be damn near perfect.

hell... i'd love to find a good high-res poster... i would loooooove to get this timepiece.

...this is my second time buying from Paul...and i must say that other than a bad movement in this second order i've been extremely satisfied. the timepieces are always excellent, visually, but this recent one was not ticking when it arrived. but i am patient... i'm sure Paul will live up to his reputation and assist with an exchange.

i was fortunate to get a very sound issue of Paul's 5th version 42.5 P.O. and for the past year i have been immensely pleased with it... so much so that i would love to buy another just like it... unfortunately it is no longer listed on his site... i had considered getting a 4th version from Andrew but i'm kinda picky about the Omega logo being so close to the lettering. also... i got a replacement bracelet from Andrew several months ago... and was a bit disappointed to find it modestly scuffed up when it arrived. what should i do?

yeah... the last replacement bracelet i got from him had quite a few scratches on them as well... i was not impressed.

i was browsing Paul's site earlier and couldn't help but notice the 5th version 42.5 P.O. isn't listed anymore... i still have the last one i got and it's been my favorite piece (although it has taken it's share of abuse) ... i'd love to get another from him, i know the other dealers maybe just as good (if not better) ... but none of my other reps looked quite as good out of the box or stood the test of time. :(

how complicated is it to replace the bezel... i heard that there was a possibility that a special tool may be needed to press the bezel on?! if so... would it be an expensive thing to have a jewler do?! does the gen bezel fit the 5th version rep?! i would seriously consider buying a gen bezel from offrei if that's the case... i realize that's a pricey choice... but if you want genuine looks... and genuine durability... it sounds worth it to me. what's the easiest way to lume the new pearl if i were to use the DIY tutorial?!

has anyone tried the real end links? comments? pics?

would using the real Omega 952 bracelet end links on my 42.5 P.O. fix that slightly unconvincing gap that the rep bracelets have? i've noticed that the location of the pin hole on the gen is slightly different and there is a rounded inlet where the next link on the bracelet sits... while the 4th/5th version reps have a flat face...

i like my 42.5... i personally think the UPO is too big... any particular reason why you're not too happy with it?

well... i went into buying my first rep with a grain of salt...although i hope for the best... i consider my first buy to be more a learning experience... can anyone give me some pointers as to what to look for as far as quality goes with the 5th Version PO?! ...i had considered taking a stroll down to the local dealer and nonchalantly having a comparison look between it and the real thing... ...lol... that is ... when it finally arrives...

i used the pam111 site... i havnt seen the womart one up in months... i wrote him an e-mail shortly after starting this thread... he has scince replied that he will try to have the item sent by the weeks end... ...still... i wonder why this is taking so long...

well let me say that my post isn't quite fair... i did e-mail him after a week and his relpy was the same evening (albeit a generic sort of reply) ...stating that due to the popularity of the watch (which i believe) it would take longer to fill the order... but nothing since then...

it's my first time doing buisness with Paul... and i have heard good things...i understand the 5th p.o. is a popular item and that it will take longer than usual to recieve it... but it's been nearly three weeks and i havn't recieved any shipping information or follow up... is this common?

whats the difference between the 5th version and the 4th gen? any significant improvements?
