  1. Can this watermark be removed or are Trusty's pics infact factory pictures which are also used by others? The seller calls himself 'Trustywatch' by the way..... Pics I've seen on Marktplaats (auction site owned by Ebay) I can't post a link to Trusty's section with his pics because his site is down.
  2. 202grams. Defenately heavier than the Tag Heuer Link... don't know how much because I sold the Link.
  3. Hi folks, When the Breitling for Bentley was launched a couple of weeks ago I was itching to buy it. The only thing that was holding me back was that 9 of the 10 Breitling reps you see on the streets here in Holland is a Bentley... Then the GT came out and I was blown away by it's beauty. Besides it's different dial, which sets it appart from the Canal street reps, the case is smaller which is a big plus. The GT is approx. 44mm while the regular Bentley is 48mm which is just too big IMHO. My genuine Breitling Steelfish is also 44mm so I knew it would fit my wrist nicely. I chose the white dial purely because my Steelfish has a black dial. The other colours are too difficult to match with your clothes I bought many watches over the years and tried many different dealers. This time I bought my watch from Precious Time. Let me tell you; this guy is fast! Avarage reply to a PM within 5 minutes and I received the watch only 3 days after payment. The watch was carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and the package had 'fragile' stickers all over it. Overal PT was a pleasure to deal with. Perfect communication, fast shipping and he made me a nice price on the GT I would recommend him to everyone, especially EU based members. Now over to the review. I can tell you that I owned almost all of the 'super' reps. Omega SMP, Breitling Seawolf Ti, Omega PO 4th, Tag Heuer Link Chono, Breitling Navitimer, Subs, Pams etc. But this watch is the absolute best!! The new Asian 7750 runs smooth as a baby's ass and keeps perfect time. When you hold the watch in your hands you know this ain't your average rep..... I know there are some minor flaws but the only one that is worth mentioning is the crossing of the 't's' on the case back. Otherwise this watch is perfect in my opinion. Just for the record: The day and date align perfectly.. it's the angle. Deep engravings all over the watch. Pretty almost perfect case back. The real deal has the serial# etched and not engraved by the way. The clasp is freaking thight! you better have some thick nails... The HEV? The screw thread is perfect. Smooth winding. Just like my gen Breitling. The small 'B' etched on the side of the bezel. Nice touch. The bezel turns very smooth. The clasp fold with the engravement The serials on the back of the bracelet The jigsaw bracelet Wrist shot on a genuine Breitling strap For this kind of money just can't go wrong. I don't think a genuine one would give you more pleasure. For me this is the best replica out of the box. Hope you guys enjoyed the review. For specific questions you can always shoot me a PM.
  4. Silixwatch is down.... WAR OF THE WORLDS!!!!!
  5. You have to take the bezel off and thighten the spring.... This is very difficult to do with the Seawolf. You'll probably end op doing more damage than good (scratches, dents, etc.). I would leave it as it is.
  6. I think it's for making the links in the bracelet move smooth... the same graphite powder is used to spray in locks for the ball bearings.
  7. Just throw it in the washingmachine and then 5 minutes in the dryer... good as new!
  8. Thanks guys... It could indeed be the heat and sweat causing the reaction.
  9. I bought a nice Sea-Dweller for my dad yesterday but when he wears it his whole arm becomes red en itchy (only where the case sits). I find this very strange because the watch is SS right? Can there still be nickel in it? When he wears his Pulsar, no problems at all but when the SD touches his skin in a matter of seconds his arm's red..... Did anybody ever experienced something simular?
  10. I thought this wasn't applicable to the new 7750 (good quality cannon pin)?
  11. I was told by a watchmaker that you can't get tem apart because the stem and crown are 'glued' with a tiny drop of tin.
  12. Contact the guy who serviced the watch!.....
  13. You local Breitling dealer of course. It is listed in the 2006 catalogue You can always shoot me a PM....
  14. Do I need to mention this on for hand?
  15. Even the buckle looks butt ugly!!.... you can have a genuine one for approx. 15,-
  16. Yeah... same experience with the Breit strap. Buy I genuine one, they're the best!
  17. The watchmaker I contacted could do the overhaul for Euro 85,-.... complete disassembling, oiling and regulating. He said he usually works for jewelers who don't have a own repair service. He has been doing this for 40 years and overhauled dozens of 7750. Can this be true???.... I also asked him if it wasn't just a dip. He guaranteed me it wasn't! It's like bringing your car in for servicing.... it's all about trust. You never know for sure if they've done all the things they say they've done. Euro 85,- is cheap. So cheap I'm a little paranoid.
  18. I know but the genuines are really hard to come buy.. I already asked EL for a rep but he told me the factory which produced them got closed a couple of months ago
  19. Damn.. already bought it. Would love to get my hands on one of those warranty cards!
  20. Nope... he charged me Euro 6,- for a national shipment. Pretty sweet!
  21. Which dealers did you contacted?...
  22. Thanks Zig.. you are the king! The watch I was willing to get serviced by a local experienced watchmaker is the Bentley GT with the new 28,800 BPH movement (6-9-12 layout) so he should be able to do the overhaul and servicing without any big problems I recon.....
