  1. If you are on time and go straight to MBK after clearing immigration you should be OK. Use the 'taxi meter' not the [censored] Thai Limo services who will attack you (like the piranhas they are) in the terminal foyer. Go to the taxi booth outside and tell them you want expressway to MBK (Mah Boon Krong). Coming back DONT go for a taxi out the front of MBK they are fined big time for stopping there so you might wonder why they're all passing you by! Go out the back where there is a relatively orderly rank fed by an unending seccession of cabs on the service road there.
  2. @ Esteban You seriously believe a "whos got the best sub" wont attract the odd jibe here?? .
  3. errrrr getting anywhere and back in Krung Thep is an issue
  4. Gee......what a verbose "whos got the best sub" thread starter
  5. Yes nice choice....I was dithering over buying one of these myself in February but the cost:fragility detered me...but this next trip damnit I think one's got to be had!!! .
  6. CDG airport has got to be the worst of it's kind anywhere on the planet, with every few hundred meters yet another arrogant uniformed ignoramous wants to look at your passport (for what????)............... Couple this with minimum wage north africans in charge of the xray checks who have a magpie's eye for shiney watches or anything else other than what they are there for..................... And you reach the conclusion I did years ago - donate all your AirFrance airmiles to charity and wave the goddamn place goodbye! .
  7. Errr.. wasnt the time to play 'what if' over this deal BEFORE you placed a bid?

  10. But not with such graphic style! .
  11. Just tell him you are sorry you ever signed up for that Chinese 'Jigsaw puzzle' club, cos at this rate it'll never be finished!
  12. @ offshore Wasnt being 'eliteist' over the Bergeon most times I use a rubber ball (reviewed on the old RWG) But if your Rollie back has been torqued up by some vengefull Chinese f***wit then only the two handled Bergeon is g'teed to do it (& without damage). .
  13. I would almost g'tee that is a chinese copy of the Bergeon (at that price, & location) which in any event is a 'no contest' head & shoulders above any other tool (save for perhaps the genuine Bergeon!). I've had both the copy and the origional Bergeon set and the copy is by far the better value IMHO . .
  14. This is misleading - are you talking about either /or on the plunger types from Bergeon or Ruihua with a small monetary difference, or, comparing either of these with the full blown Bergeon 5537 tool set!!!! Which is waaaay more expensive but is the Rolls Royce tool for the job .
  15. Good to see you back Dave. I hope that you will take the effort to rescue all the reviews you posted as each is a 'gem' in its own right. .
  16. Youll have it before 13.00hours Tuesday - In a nice laquered wood box too!!! .
  17. Here's my Beauty Pageant Panerai.......................... She tells me that if she wins the strap she wants to work for world peace!
  18. Ahhhh.......that damnned book!!! Anyone who has shopped for reps in the Far East should have an involuntary shudder at the sight of this book. Used as a catalogue by hosts of sellers out there for 'point & pick' multiligual buying! Nearly always as a prelude to the 20+min wait while they go and get their nearest approximation. Divide a day's shopping by this repeated nonsense and you begin to see the 'tourist' rep buyer's dilemma! Golden rule - Refuse To Look At This Book! .
  19. Mmmmmmmm wait for another of their foibles.......a month or so after delivery a nice little invoive for duties/ handling fees et al !!!!! .
  20. Minolta 7i (I know ....I have one too) .
  21. Loctite or similar rated @ '222'

  23. It seems, not being content with 'counting deckchairs on the Titanic' a wayward MOD is stooping to this............................. Both Klinks and Bigshooters links for replica-watch.info go to The Replica Center !!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!!! Check it out.... http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum...topic=34716&hl= Wierd s**t no sooner mentioned & its ammended!!!!!!!! .
  24. I for one cant understand the discussion ..............the 'Terms & Conditions' of the PAID dealer section .....that I and others have subscribed to was a MANDATORY display of prices. On a personal note it doesnt require the wisdom of Methuzala to see that if a dealer is spending all that time fielding spurious mails/PMs someone somewhere is paying for this time and effort arnt they. .
