Dont use it for chopping wood on....like you have with that trigger guard!

If ya snooze ...ya loose!!! Impulse buyers always beat the 'twenty questions' buyer to the goods! When I'm out buying (100+ reps in a good day) its done with my instincts not with a vernier caliper, otherwise I'd miss out on many too!

Mmmmmm 'altitude alarm' ....might be just the thing for blowing up aircraft

Take the one and only thing you need to take anywhere.....a flight bag full of money. Have a nice one!

Just more of the USA's posturing and financially blackmailing to get it's way. Its worked a treat so far on the avaricious Prime Minister 'Toxin' of Thailand who has driven much of the counterfeit trade away, clamped down on its licencing laws for bars etc much to the serious financial detriment of his people (but of course all his kick backs derived from the reciprocal USA fundings being much to his benefit). So much so that hitherto unheard of levels of drug related crime, murders, muggings etc within tourist areas exist as ousted 'entrepreneurs' seek earnings elsewhere!! It'll be interesting to see how long it takes China to buckle under

A quick test........ if the date changes on an anti clockwise crown rotation (towards 6oclock) then its definately Asian Chinese movement. Opposite direction maybe ETA maybe improved Asian movement. . -
That would be a Railmaster XXL no problem to source (tis but a few mouseclicks away!) Also the current Big Pilot has a huuuuuge strap (up to 9.5") .

As you dont say what it is , its hard to advise......but in general terms: It will probably arrive with plastic around the bracelet (assuming it has one, not a strap) try as best you can to unwrap this and not tug and rip at it as this only forces bits of plastic into the links and they are doubly hard to get out. Plastic stickers may be front and back (not to be confused with Rolex holograms!) and need removal by hand and posibly cleaning off residual 'sticky' from the case back. If theres a bezel (damned Rollies again) this may have a plasic sticker over it too. Crown and pushers(if any) may have a blue transfer protector which needs gentle removal too. Whatever setting you do (unless it is a simple configuration of just Hour hand minute hand and seconds hand) first put the time to 6 oclock then set the date , day , month whatever. This prevents clashing with the mechanisms changeover of these functions (nasty!). Everyone has their preferences but I like to set all the date/day etc to yesterday and then advance the time thru to the correct setting. Hope this ramble helps! -
While on software...dont overlook JASC's Paint Shop Pro....for the fledgling user the 'enhance photo' button (one click fix) coupled with the cropping tool can be a very simple quantum leap forward.

Horrendous amounts of money! ...watching the above evaporate at an alarming rate! -
Yup, And John Q. Citizen will fall for it hook line & sinker every time! I'm sure if Tony 'the Poodle' called a National Road Safety Day - and spouted some stats about how you and you loved ones were say 95% less likely to be injured on the road wearing a traffic cone on your head - they would turn out in the multitudes wearing them! (well if a talentless [censored] like Lenny Henry can get them wearing red noses!!!!). I recall as an aside when France foisted the mandatory seat belt wearing on its populace, nationwide there was a total disobediance to it on principle. Whereas on TMI it was buckle up and shut up and do as you are told - as usual.

I think the work of admin in the putting together of this board is commendable. Doubly so as he has his own board to run! He spent considerable time last night ironing out the setup of the dealers section so that HTML worked etc. I have just sent him my personal thanks in the PM copied here: "admin Just by way of a big thank you for your selfless efforts in the creation of this site (at the 'nuts & bolts' end) and especially for your immediate help(s) thru the setup of my dealers section last night.......... In appreciation of which I would like to return the favour, so please choose the watch of your prefference from my listings ...let me know which and it's on it's way to you gratis. Many Thanks Reg "

Reminds me of something said to me by the immortal Jeff Cooper.... "the results of a lowly .22 in the hands of a combat master can be quite gratifying, whereas those of a medium tank driven by a baboon never can be" I would build my light box first - take plenty of photos and learn just what your requirements are. Most will take good watch shots without too much difficulty if set right. Your choice may ultimately be governed by 'comfort' features like the ability to hotchange flash cards, multiple stored settings etc.
