Klink has been removed from the staff at RWI indefinately, no matter the issue or the personal feelings involved we do not condone editing a members posts for personal issues and banning someone over a personal fight is unacceptable, no other staff members were informed of this decision until after the fact. I personally like Klink and get along with him very well, it saddens me that this has happened but this behaviour is simply unacceptable for any staff member, no matter how much they are liked.

The server expires on March 14th not Feb 14th and is on auto renew, Tim was on the board last night chatting it up with everyone. He is not MIA.

Were supposed to be switching to a new server, talked to the server admin last night. Maybe just technical difficulties. RWGII is online!

I spoke with our server admin last night, the URL is on auto renew so now worries there. We are switching to a new server but not sure when, perhaps its just a server issue. No worries, RWG II is a good place too.

Should have let him think yours was real and point out the differences between a real and a rep - he would go along since he thinks yours is real - then after he was agreeing and on your side throw in the fact that yours was a rep as well and catch him off guard. Off the topic but the main issue I've run into is people think genuine Rollie Subs are heavy which they are not - a friend at work was inspecting mine and commented that it looked good but it was way too light - I didn't bother telling him that a modern sub was 135g and my rep was also 135g - pointless - some people you just can't educate so why waste the effort.

Yes - I never out someone on purpose or in front of others - after all I'm wearing a rep too - am I any better just because I know where to get a good one? Usually I just let it go or if I get a chance to show them mine in a private conversation; guide them a little. This happening was unusual - I had no clue the guy knew what we were talking about.

I partially disagree - equating being poor with being spiritual is just as unbiblical as flaunting your wealth. I agree there have been some preachers who abused their position and influence so seek exorbitant personal financial gain over all else. Their greedy manipulative efforts have hurt the church and given unbelieving critics ammunition to attack and descredit but to say a pastor can't drive a luxury car of wear a Rolex IMHO is wrong. How about pastors like Rick Warren who wrote a mega-selling book and made millions - he didn't abuse anyone to get his money - why would it be wrong for him to live well?

I wasn't trying to spark a theological debate but I see nothing wrong with wearing a Rollie in church or anywhere else that's like saying if you own a Mercedes you shouldn't drive it in order to be humble and apparently the pastor feels the same way - he wears a genuine yellow gold President.

This happened a few weeks ago - I was in a very large church and my friend sitting beside me nudges me and points to the wrist of a guy sitting in front of him and off to the side a little, his wrist was hanging over the back of his pew in plain view of my friend. The way he was dangling it in front of everyone it was pretty clear he wanted us to see it. So my friend asks in a quiet voice "is it real" so I look over and its a SS Sub with a Blue Dial (gasp) I looked a little closer just to see how bad it really was and trust me it was pretty bad. So just as I look at my friend and shake my head no - the guy turns and looks right at me - looks down at my Sub (replica SS/Black) - then back up at me then pulls his arm out from behind his wife and places it in his lap - he then turns and whispers something to his wife and THEY GET UP AND MOVE! I felt terrible - I didn't intend to out the guy at all - I had no idea he heard the question let alone would turn and catch me giving the answer by shaking my head.

The minimum post rule for newbies won't work IMHO - people will speed post frivolous crap just to get their post count up. As far as Pay Pal restrictions on newbies - its really the dealers call and from a newbies standpoint PP offers a little protection on their end. We know the dealers are great, we tell everyone the dealers are great but I remember being a newbie on RWG - I didn't believe everything I read for awhile - being new to the hobby; having a little protection when ordering an (illegal) item from the other side of the world is an attractive option. I think Pug is right (gasp) LOL its really the dealers call - we can't be the nanny.

I got a Yacht Master back last week from Joe, looks great, no complaints here. Just to address some of the things I've read on this thread, I've had many conversations with Joe over the phone and I don't recall him saying anything negative about any other watch repair guys and if he did (which he didn't) it would at least be in confidence, I've seen other watch repair guys jump on Joe at the drop of a hat on some of the forum boards in full view of the public. As far as ebay goes, BIG DEAL ! When I had my surgery a few months back I spent a lot of time on ebay buying crap too, do you guys mean to tell me that when you don't feel well and you have nothing to do you don't spend alot of time on the internet?, it looks like the majority of his purchases are inexpensive items, I really don't think he's on there spending your watch money. Someone remarked they didn't trust Joe because he gives out his email and phone number freely, that seems like backward logic, I would be weary if he tried to hide his phone number and email, the fact that he's not trying to hide anything should put you at ease. Joe has hundreds of great reviews over at the old RWG which is unfortunately gone but if you've been around awhile you know its true and as far as I can tell he has had 2, yes count em' (two) major complaints, even Jesus had more complaints than that. Joe's communication could be better and I understand what its like to wait a long time and have a lot of money on the line, it makes people nervous and causes us to jump the gun and say things that we wished we wouldnt' have. Before we string him up, lets remember all glowing reviews and satisfied customers he has had over the last few years.
