Well, if it's anything like the US market...you'll have people standing in line at banks to withdraw their money. (Oh yeah, that happened at another time in history...right before the Great Depression) Not necessarily a hugely depressed market, but Oil has been speculated as being the next tech/housing bubble, corn (in the US) and fuel are driving the price of everything up and the financial sector is getting screwed. From what I've read, the world markets/US market should start to turn the corner within 1-2 years but time will tell...
