  1. I know in many states (Including my native MA) that doctors who enroll in treatment programs are granted immunity from potentially losing their licenses so long as they are upfront and comply with any and all preventative restrictions (Board sanctioned) for the well being of their patients. A friend of my dad's from his med school days had a substance abuse problem (Dr. David Arndt... feel free to google it) and it go so out of control that many of you may have heard the case where he left a patient on the table while he went into Harvard Square to cash a check to support his habit etc. Please listen to Lani...it's much better to deal with this in a private manner than to have something catastrophic occur and ruin your life and reputation forever. Dr. Arndt lost everything: his money, his reputation, a successful practice, etc. Last I heard he was overdosing in jail. Best of luck in your recovery!
  2. Damn! I'll just be heading back to CT at that time! If I can make it up there, I'll surely PM!
  3. I was given a 2002 750iL (right before they switched over to the new design) when I started driving and I must say, while the nav system was problematic, the car was truly a dream to drive. If you don't mind paying for the gas and service, I'd go for it. I'm looking into getting either a new Saab 9-3 Aero or the redesigned BMW 540 series (now the 550 I think) but repairs can get absurdly expensive. Worst case scenario you can always sell it so long as you keep it in good condition.
  4. Awww thank you Victoria! Btw, I love that strap for the fish!

  5. Due to my recent purchase from Tanya, I'M now looking for a sapphire crystal that would fit my PAM 253 for a mod. I'd be more than willing to pay top dollar for it!! Thanks in advance, Shundi
  6. Anyone who would give that below a 9.5 is a moron.... And I only say 9.5 because I do not believe in total perfection....for your work though, I may be willing to make an exception!
  7. Oh I have no doubt that its over 3M I just feel that the Group has made it so the majority of his compensation is incentive/ bonus based so that he continues to make P a powerhouse brand through sales. Its no trouble to take a look at financials... As a finance major I spend lots of time doing it anyways!!
  8. Hmm... that's a good question... I took a peek at Compagnie Financi
  9. I personally have never had a problem with an Asian 7750 and I haven't had mine serviced (yet). I've owned about 14 of them and since I haven't had problems, I'd say go for it. EuroTimez (a new dealer on the board) is also offering a 6 month warranty on all his watches so that might be worth looking into...
  10. Italo must be paying him a lotttttttttt of money to go from PAM to helping sell their (IMHO) gaudy trash ...
  11. EuroTimez, Just reading the newest topics posted shows that our members have been doubting some of our current collectors (both in the past and more recently) I'm glad to hear that there are multiple QC checkpoints and warranties included in the price of these watches. It's also nice to hear that instead of one collector running their own show (shipping, maintaining a website, QC) you've got multiple people and thus, built in accountability and (hopefully) dependability. I, for one, can't wait to see the new website and I look forward to doing business with you!
  12. http://www.physorg.com/news124035207.html And we complain about COSC in reps!
  13. 1. Welcome to posting here on the forum! Glad to have you!! 2. Please keep us updated on your project! It looks fascinating and I hope that you'll keep us updated/ that we can help!!! Best of luck, Shundi
  14. Vic, You'd do the butler in the background... he looks like he might be Italian
  15. Can we ban this Reiner Manzen fool?
  16. That's such a cool cat!!! I assume you got him from a breeder...?
  17. @ Corgi: Totally agree, the Railmaster is amazing!!
  18. End of March would be great! I'd be coming from Sudbury
  19. I went to Lugano when I was in Switzerland/ Italy and it's a great mixture of quaint shopping and sumptuous luxury. The Majore region of Italy (esp. the lake) is fascinating. If you can get to the Canton of Geneva, that would obviously allow you visit the headquarters of some of the finest gen brands. Enjoy the trip nonetheless, make sure to try the buffalo mozzarella and stop at the Autogrills on the highway if you're looking for some amazing "fast food"!!
