Yeah, that is pretty much the going rate for a Fiddy. Don't we all wish we bought one when they were $10,000.

just thinking. Since both the a and b series are rare. Wouldnt they both hold value? Its not like they made a million of these;-)A and t dial is the one that cost alot and is more attractive for collectors.
i woud never pay 15k$ for the b series and the leaf pw hand.

i don't think the Gen HBB dw can put on replica HBB.
all have incorrect DW.
I am quite sure that a general ETA dw can be used for the rep HB.Francisco.

Gen HBBs can/could be ordered with either black OR white date wheels. I have seen genuine Tuiga limited edition rose gold HBBs with both colors.is he asking about tugia or all black?

Nicely done. Definitely an inspiration for all of us rep collectors.
This is probably the ONE reason why rep collecting is favourable than collecting gen. This is not to say rep is better than gen. The things you can buy with 5K on one watch versus the satisfaction you get of collecting various watches and put them up for display....priceless

And the satisfaction on having a good gen whit innhouse movement is way beyond owning even 20 reps referring to the person quoted.

Stoner tends to rely more on the electronics than on his ability ... he'll never even come close to Rossi's total for the rest of the season now

Never say can't..50 points is not that much..
I have not counted Stoner out, him and his ducati is a combo that can be hard to beat..
His machine is not much better then any other duc rider, its the way he can handle it and use its potential , it then becomes a superior machine that makes him able to win over Rossi and some of the other riders like we saw last year.
This year Rossi is showing him have it shoud be done

Quite. I admit I'm disappointed to be proved right about them just using a pic and not even attempting the Ti-N-C process nor sourcing a gen to colour-match, but I'm quietly confident the V2 version will be much better.
i em almost 100% sure it will also be pvd.
so again no reason to get, if nobody gets them they will understand that they need to use the blacksteel process.

Reason Rossi is the best was on show today.
He is the master of the bike not the other way around.
Phuu Stoner is a good rider but reason he wins is because he has found the formula to control the ducati and by that have a superior machine to the others in terms of electric system and the power delivery.
I hope for greater battles at the front in the races to come.
To bad Stoners traction control did not save him in that turn
Michelin has some work to do now, i woud not like to be their motosport chief right now

cmon don't be a breitling apologist - it doesn't "give it away" breitling owners are just like any other- i'm sure some are breitling crazy - and others, bought a nice watch.
it looks way better on the rivet strap - the breitling leather strap is too wimpy and small for this large of a case!
my gen brown breit strap looks not wimpy at all.
And i hate wimpy staps i sold my jlc mcc becasue of its strap

Like the brown, but I'd have to say I'd much prefer a gen Breit brown calf strap. You would never see a gen owner going with a non breit strap. NEVER! This watch is so perfect and the aftermarket strap just gives it away IMO.

I don't get this. Why are people throwing so much moeny away to buy real estate and other things that don't exist? I tries second life when it first came out and it was quite annoying and boring. What do people see in this? Are that many peoples' lives so mundane that this is all the excitement they can get?

Looking closely at the watch here, the only thing I can see that could be PVD is the small plate with the tiny screws above the crown and below the bezel--actually, it looks more like Kevlar or hard plastic.
I forgot to state that what's even more impressive about this watch is that the crown is pull-out and not screw-down. I don't think this comes from either the first or second factory. It's a completely new factory because the dial has a different design. Specifically, the chrono subdials do not have those awful rings around them, and hence the dial has a cleaner look, which I like.
Still, $475 is a hella good price to pay for this watch. Silix finally came through with a great watch, and I think this is your best buy.

If you don't like it i can sell it in Norway for you at a huge mark up ;)They go for 3200$ here more or less.
