  1. All, I have received the QC pictures. I would welcome your thoughts please. 1. 12 o clock batons aren't quite in-line. 6 o clock has lume outside of the metal. 2. 6 o clock baton appears to have lume underneath in the picture where the watch is on it's side with 12 o clock on the right. 3. Screw seems to be protruding out on the picture with the Patek crown facing upwards with watch on side 4. There is a symbol I don't recognise on the movement. Almost looks like a Chinese character in the picture with rear of watch with crown to the right. 5. There seems to be lume in the bezel over the numbers? Is that right? These are my thoughts. I am being too picky? (Photos edited out by request of author -Nanuq)
  2. All, I have received the QC pictures but the emails ask that I do not share them. Is this normal? I would add that I didn't agree to this before payment and i very much want the guidance of the forum. Could you advise please? I don't want to break any rules.
  3. Update. I have taken a deep breath and pulled the trigger. $525 worth of tension coming up! I've been told to expect the QC pictures in about 2 - 7 days. I will post these up and invite all the help and suggestions that come in, but it may be worth setting out a general "what to look for" and a more specific "Nautilus list" if people are feeling helpful?
  4. I will be placing the order with Andy next week. I am excited and I will post pictures of the QC process. I would be very grateful if you and other would guide me through the QC process.
  5. Thank you for the kind words and for your excellent post. That is really good advice. I think you're right, in that, to me the form and authenticity of the watch case and bracelet are the most important factors to me. It seems that the PF is broadly accepted to be a far superior body of the watch, while the MK dial is better it's not that much better. So basically, I could live with the PF dial as I believe it's already of a very good standard. Very good advice about the TDs not answering and that I should be put off. They have all come back eventually, but they must lose sales like this? For example, I was going to buy from one TD so I only contacted him. Then he went quiet so I contacted someone else and now he has competition. Furthermore, 2 out of 3 TDs have said that the PF version is their choice. Only one (InTime) has said it's the MK for him. I will try and see if I can maybe have a MK dial on a PF watch.
  6. Unfortunately, without physically seeing the watches you can't tell which is better. To ask a pointed question, is the general consensus that the MK version is better than the PF version of the 5711? MK version is $50 cheaper - https://www.intime03.co/patek-philippe/5379-nautilus-jumbo-5711a-ss-v5-mk-1-1-best-version-blue-dial-on-bracelet-cal324cs-free-box.html PF version is supposed to have the better case and is thinner - http://www.trustytime.biz/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=39_199&products_id=17801 I am still inclined to go with PF factory, but grateful to the members for raising the MK. Haha, wish there was a shop you could just drop into and actually see things properly! Is it possible to have the MK dial put on the PF watch?
  7. Thank again. Now I'm stuck because InTime has come back to me and said he thinks the MK version is better as it has a better dial! Haha, I will try and do some research.
  8. Thank you for this. I asked TrustTime what they considered to be the best quality replica and they said it was the one I posted above. Do you feel the one you posted is a true-er copy of the original? I'd be very keen to understand why and hear from the wiser ones here as well.
  9. Dear All Thank you to all the threads I have read and to those who have replied to some of my questions. With your assistance, I am now ready to make a purchase. I When I joined the forum, my frustration was that I could not find a thread that set out the whole process from start to finish. I'm hoping that this thread will help those who come after me to have a better understanding of what is involved. I also hope that the really knowledgeable members here will contribute to this thread with their observations, advice and constructive criticism to help make this a real good guide. I have decided on a PF (the factory that makes the watch) made Nautilus 5711 because I love the Gen. Also, it seems to be a close enough replica to meet my expectations from what I have seen and read. Lastly, while I appreciate that a Rolex Submariner is probably the pinnacle of the replica workmanship, I think I can live with the flaws on the Patek. Here is a video of how good the Rolex replica is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_ZTqC2Yxxse In terms of choosing a trusted dealer from the RWG list, I have been in touch with InTime and TrustyTime. InTime - initially answered quickly, but then stopped when I wanted some guidance with his opinion as to what the best factory to buy from you was. Chasers have had no response thus far, which is sad. They seem decent folk but this is a very much a trust thing and they haven't inspired me with confidence. TrustyTime - Thus far, I am impressed. All my questions have been answered and I have been directed to buy the PF factory's Nautilus 5711 (not 40th anniversary version) with a blue dial, as that in their opinion is the best Nautilus replica on the market. I just need to get paid this month and then I can buy the watch from my savings. The link to the watch I am going to buy is from the website www.trustytime.biz (if any established members think this is a scam/wrong, please tell me!!). These website change all the time and the current website on RWG does not work. Please could someone confirm this is the correct site? 🙏 I expect that TrustyTime will send me QC (quality control) photographs and I will put these up with my observations and hope that other members will also contribute their views. This will be an important part of the process, because I can see from the picture on the website that the batons are badly aligned. I hope that this thread will produce a list of things to check straight away for almost any purchase. I will also put up the experience I have with making payment and delivery too, so that it is helpful. Finally, I will try and make an unboxing video and then discuss the watch itself. This is the watch I am going to buy: http://www.trustytime.biz/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=39_199&products_id=17801 I have included a picture below to help people who might click on the link in future and find it is dead. At this point, I have not bought the watch yet. I hope to do so at the end of the month. I will then update the thread again. Would the forum prefer if I started new posts, or just edited this on? Happy to do what you guys prefer. Finally, I really hope people will contribute to this thread. Any thoughts thus far, just let me know!
  10. Thanks very much. I've dropped them! Maybe pick something up win the future. Thank you Tomhorn, that's exactly the sort of clarity I was hoping for.
  11. Thanks very much for replying Tom. My particular interest is the accuracy of the design and it looking as close to genuine as possible. I'm satisfied with movement as long as they tell the time!
  12. A rare example of someone posting actual links! Thank you. This is super-helpful as it shows me what member think are worth buyer. Also, the trusted dealers sections URLs are mostly dead. Thank you for posting so I can see some current URLs.
  13. Super helpful response. Thank you! You have answered a number of questions here. I am in touch with Andy at InTime, but he has not answered my last email - hopefully he will.
  14. I will certainly contribute by posting any experiences I have. Thank you for explaining the factory point. I suspected that might be it, but I was struggling to find a definitive answer. By the way, I looked at the very helpful thread referenced above: https://forum.replica-watch.info/forum/replica-watch-general-discussion/308081-consensual-list-super-reps-nwbigs It's very helpful, but I guess it's falls slightly short of showing a duffer like me exactly what to buy! It tells you what models are the best, but I'm not quite sure where to buy them from yet! I think that will come with time. I think the case is that any of the trusted sellers that sell those models will sell "good" watches!? This is a huge amount of money for me, so I think I will try and get a Rolex Hulk or other submariner off the forum. I don't think the Nautilus or IWC is achievable. If I were to be from a trusted dealer, I would go one of these two. Which would you go for out of these two, given we seem to have similar taste!? 😁😃 Bi-metal Submariner - https://www.intime03.co/rollie/5279-submariner-116613-lb-noob-1-1-best-edition-yg-wrapped-bezel-blue-dial-on-ss-yg-bracelet-a2836-v8.html (I suspect the bi-metal adds another levels of complexity which would mean a stainless steel replica would be better? However, I bloody love this watch!) Green or Black Submariner - https://www.intime03.co/rollie/5275-submariner-116610-lv-green-ceramic-904l-djf-1-1-best-edition-green-dial-on-sa3135.html LOL, but then what throws a newbie like me is that you type in "submariner" into the site and you have at least 3 version of the same watch, at different prices!! https://www.intime03.co/rollie/5275-submariner-116610-lv-green-ceramic-904l-djf-1-1-best-edition-green-dial-on-sa3135.html How to choose the best version of the same watch, from the same website with no obvious difference!? Thank you for bearing with me again. Going through the for sale stuff is a little frustrating, as there is loads of stuff there but not what I want! haha. Just a case of growing up and being patient. I'm sure the right thing will come along. Which one would be good enough for you? I suspect that is probably more than good enough for me. Yes, I hear a lot about this and read this all the time. But, if I'm honest I never seem to see anyone say: "This is indistinguishable from the real thing. Here is the link to buy it at "x" and this is what I paid." Part of what I love is the chase and discovering things for myself, but I must confess that in weeks of reading this forum I can't identify a link that would meet this criteria. If I could, I'd get my savings out and buy it! If I am missing some forum etiquette where this is never revealed, please do tell me or send me a PM!
  15. Not at all. I am trying so hard to understand all the terms and all the information here, as there is so much to digest. When I come across guys like you, it's pretty amazing to know you've taken all that in and there is so much detail! I would love to see links to the JF 16610 (what does JF mean?). I love the Hulk version of the watch - it's just so different and vibrant. If only I had a big green vintage car to drive with it!! I have been reading for weeks before I got the courage to sign up and ask a question. I will only buy from a trusted dealer or from a member on this forum. What is my style? I like a simple watch. I understand that with replicas, anything with complications will be very hard to duplicate and will look "wrong" To answer your very wise question, I would like something simple, iconic and that has class. Patek 5711 - thoughnI understand there are no good replicas that someone like you would really respect. Rolex Hulk - There are so many versions, I don't know what to buy or from who! I am emailing Ryan at InTime to ask some questions, so I hope he can help.s IWC annual calendar - I would love one of these too. But I can't find a model that looks real on any of the trusted dealers? Lange and Sohne - anything from them! But I think nothing is available at all that is of the top quality. (and thank you for replying again)
  16. Gosh, what amazing knowledge! Thank you very much sir. I will look at this carefully. What is your favourite replica and who would you buy it from?
  17. Thank you for explaining but I think most people here could never afford a 20k replica! Do you have a favour under $1000? I ask because I am interested in your thoughts as you seem to know a lot about watches.
  18. Hi doctor, thanks for such a great answer. I don't worry at all about being called out, in fact, I'd happily tell people it's a replica if I was ever asked. For me it's about having an iconic design on my wrist that I could never afford really. It wouldn't make sense for me to lie or pretend, because everyone knows I don't have lots of money to spend on a watch! 🙂 I would love a dress watch Vacheron. But it is so hard to tell what watches are truly super replicas. What do you think of the link I posted above? I would love that to wear with my tuxedo when I am working at silver service occasions. http://www.trustytime.biz/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=43&products_id=18671 I wish this forum has a thread or a list of acknowledged super replicas that people have bought and tried! That would be so nice.
  19. Sounds amazing, but you haven't attached a link or a picture? I'd love to see and learn about this watch. Never heard of it and didn't know replicas could cost that much. Amazing. Thank you.
  20. I've been enjoying going through http://www.trustytime.biz/ and https://www.intime03.co websites. Some of the watches are $500, which is expensive, but if I didn't have to worry about the money I think I'd choose a top end sports Rolex. Why? Because I think that the best quality super reps are the Rolex models (look forward to debate about this point too!) and I would rather have the best/closest/most authentic replica of a quality genuine watch than a poorer quality replica of a watch I'd love to own like a Patek 5270 (which I don't think any replica would do justice to). So... today and now, I choose the Rolex Hulk as well as a simple, yet beautiful dress watch from classy Vacheron. Video link for Hulk vs Gen Hulk here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGcHGx0aEvQ&t=600sk) Links to the the version I think matches the quality of these two replicas: 1. Hulk: https://www.intime03.co/rollie/5275-submariner-116610-lv-green-ceramic-904l-djf-1-1-best-edition-green-dial-on-sa3135.html 2. Vacheron dress watch: http://www.trustytime.biz/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=43&products_id=18671 Look forward to your choices, reasons and links!
  21. I know that we can find superb replicas of Rolex, AP, etc. Lange is a much lower profile make and there isn't a lot out there that i can find it terms of reviews on quality replicas? However, I absolutely love Lange watches though I'll never be able to afford one! I don't care which model of a Lange it is (even though I have favourites), but has anyone got experience of a top quality Lange replica? My personal interest is in the design and the aesthetics being as authentic as possible, as opposed to the movement that I don't really mind as long as it tells the time. No-one I know will have even heard of Lange as a watch company, so this is just for me to enjoy their iconic design. I do hope someone can help a very keen and enthusiastic new member with a link or two, to a trusted dealer who has one of these beauties in stock. Thank you and I hope I haven't broken any rules.
