  1. that watch is one of my all time favourites, , looks good on ss bracelet and even in leather, it's comfortable at 40mm, very very close to the gen thing and all around one of the best reps made. Besides, it's been in production since 1994? this is a living classic, and one of the most important Omega designs in time. The only flaws that bothers me in this watch besides the missing AR, is that I can't seem to find the laser trigger, the crystal cutter or the ultra sound standby button. At least in the movie they were activated by the He crown...

that seamaster is one sexy babe, I love mine.

    great pics.

  2. We don't do others what we don't like to be done to us also... and a having a secure place where to hang out in the net is very comforting... the idea is that transactions are clear, honest and carried away by educated, healthy, sane, good looking, intelligent respectful gentlemen.

so keep it nice, you guys deserve it.

    cheers!

  3. talking about taste... have you seen this guy's chrono collection? ok, you haven't... his vintage collection then? phewwww...

he's a 39 year old dog lover, involved in purchasing illegal and counterfeit products, which promotes child exploitation, supports terrorism and contributes to global warming... just like everyone else here! =P

good fella, watch lover, aset to the board.

  4. @BT: lovin' that discovery man, want one already.

@ubi: I'd take a tudor sub over *almost* any submariner in a heartbeat, nice piece!

@Dani: temped to pull the antenna out?... let us know if you do! (j/k)

@toomuchgear: those vintage MM are pulling me seriously to start looking for a mini fiddy... I just couldn't wear a 47mm... but trying to keep away from a vintage pannie, even though imaging it with a very heavily distressed vintage leather... mmmhhhh, makes me vintage hungry.

today I've been wearing my Deltick 005, on a TC marina strap bought from Rolli quite some time ago.

Pics taken with the phone camera during a short braek at work.

  5. this is all cyclic, sometimes we get bored of everything and regain interest when we realise that things are really ok and that details that bother us aren't as such... just like the first 3 years of relationship, or the itch of the 7th year...

besides, if you want to have good friends, start by being one. Feedback is everything here, the consequences of just one post can affect inmensly in the direction of the board's future. Just imagine what a post from a ralex agent would do here.

so if we keep on being optimist and seeding in good spirit, we'll grow a forum rich in healthy interactions.

let's keep it simple, let's keep it happy.

    cheers!

  6. Hi guys

I got the oportunity to get one of Homer's SMP chrono, bought in UK and brought to me (into South America) by my brother... I got pretty lucky and received the watch with the bezel insert glued but unpressed... so it was pretty easy to take it off the bezel and realign.

That got me started thinking if this was just a nice coincidence or if it's a new special in SMP deliveries... but if it's not, then we should ask our dealers to offer it that way so it gets closer to the gen thing. Not the bezel realigned but unpressed for the home WIS to do it himself, just like I did in just 2 minutes... For me that I'm a newb modder, it felt pretty good...

Of course it's not gonna be easy to get the dealers to do so, but we can ask... It's a simple task as easy as asking the bezel insert correctly align, but it's even easier for a dealer to ask for a pasive positioned insert than to have the factory aligning every bezel they put together.

...or maybe I'm just asking too much again.

***remember that if you have a couple of 212 CG screws and you don't want/need them, I'll buy them from you! let me know!***

I'm loving the watch after oiling and sanding the bracelet's edges after the bezel insert alignment.

    cheers!

  7. yeah, I still have it, it's now along some ol' fav mixes, with George Acosta, Carl Cox and other stuff.

I still hear it from here and there, it teleports me to the good ol'days... I used it for a friend's party a couple of years ago and got the party going, I don't remember too much of it, but they tell me I had the greatest of time... =P

when are the fresh ones coming?

    cheers!
