  1. Got the watch yesterday and i must say im impressed! Watch runs a lot quieter than when i got it, still looks stunning and the lume is just an absolute pleasure to look at! Thanks a lot, perfect watchmaker and service! A good example of the famous Deutsche gr
  2. sure! let me know by pm what the total is so i can transfer the money
  3. not ALL that worried about that though i kind of agree My major concern are the "sloppy" dots though i can imagine its a pain in the ass to get those perfectly round
  4. Awesome, the watch only had a really really faint lume when i got it, it was almost nothing now it looks great! only one slight remark though, the hands appear to be perfectly done but some of the the dots seem a bit sloppy? Is it just me or the pics?
  5. Awesome!!! Thanks a lot for the pictures! :thumbsupsmileyanim: Truly the Perfect Watchmaker in the EU! Cheers!
  6. please remember to take pics of my skyland V3 when youre working on it
  7. I hope ours dont get mixed up I sent my skyland V3 earlier today, full service, full relume, AR and waterproofing
  8. Lol, i initially only wanted a full service but looking at his craftsmanship i think ive already added relume and waterproofing to that list. Now im thinking about also gettting AR but i dont know if the difference is that big on a skyland avenger before/after pics would be really welcome :)
  9. I was looking for a reliable watchsmith in the EU since ive had some problems with tomhighway. Took over 6months to get my watch back from him So i searched the forum and found this thread, contacted domenico and got a very friendly reply back in no time!
  10. thanks for the info, Francisco's thread was an awesome read. I cant believe the cartel dealers still havent made a reliable sec@6 daytona, such a pity!
  11. Does anybody know if it is indeed worthy of the title "improved"? Im of course talking about reliability. Is it any better than the first sec @ 6 versions when it comes to that?
  12. I think they already sell pretty well The navitimer reps are maybe not accurate by today's standards but still very accurate to the layman's eye
  13. anything under 6.5" will probably need to punch additional holes in the strap according to what ive read and asked to the people who have done so. I actually prefer a bracelet over a rubber strap but im not sure how well a SS bracelet would work with a blacksteel lol
  14. the blacksteel's strap is too big for people with 6.5"> wrists though...
  15. if im not mistaken thats the $428 blacksteel V2 which already comes with that finish
  16. Thanks As i said, i went to the AD and tried a skyland with SS bracelet on and it didnt look to big at all. Guess i know know why The only problem now is that the blacksteel has a strap that wont fit my wrist and i dont have any spare buckles to perform the mod on the pic :/ Im now contemplating getting the regular one with an SS bracelet, maybe even the gen but i think ill buy a couple more breitling reps before i finally decide which one i like the most
  17. So i did a little more searching: first searched his facebook for pics of the watch and there was 1 but very grainy and small + taken from a distance so not worth posting at all. I did however find a pic of what i remember the dial to look like (or pretty much how it did) the dial itself wasnt actually pure white but more of a dirty white. This is the closest i could find but damn myself if it isnt 90% correct: So supposedly its a regatta but isnt the dial pictured a fantasy one? (the watch pictured is a rep) The other problem is the white strap: again, iirc it had "PANERAI" embossed on the strap and it appeared to be rubber.
  18. iirc, the white rubber strap clearly said Panerai but it didnt look anywhere near like the gen black rubber one No idea what 'risti is, sorry :s It definitely looked like a good quality rep or a gen
  19. Does anyone know what gen pam has a white dial and white rubber strap? I recently saw one on an acquaintance of mine and when i started searching for the model, i couldnt find it... Dont know for sure if its a gen or rep but seeing how the guy is in his early 20's it has to be either a new gen or a rep. Only think i can think of would be a white luminor chrono but with a white rubber strap and iirc, the bezel didnt have the extra markings the luminor chrono has so im all out of ideas
  20. He means buy it from one of the suggested (and trusted) dealers which can be found on this site HERE About the other question, b16a2's first link to Andreww's guide pretty much sums it all up [url=http://www.rwg.cc/members/Andreww-s-Guide-Breitlin-t68665.html]HERE The quality itself is pretty good though none are 100% accurate (as with most reps)
  21. I just got back from the AD and i LOVE the skyland! thats all i have to say for now since im contemplating just getting the gen (3450eur with bracelet, not that bad imo) seeing how my rep history has been pretty bad :/ For me thats the biggest drawback now, ive got a navitimer from josh that in 12months has only worked for about 3 weeks. Ive sent it and got it back 4 times now. Today is the 5th time i will be sending it :/ Big thanks to josh for his customer service but this is getting annoying (and costly)
  22. Im not that small a guy (5'10" 180lbs 15%bf ) but seem to have really small wrists for some reason. I guess big/small watches are mostly about getting used to them. At first i thought the navitimer was big lol but now it looks about normal even though my previous normal watch was only 38mm and a lot flatter.
  23. Thanks for the info and especially the pics! Thats exactly the model im looking at It seems(due to the mixed comments) my best guess would be to go to an AD and try the skyland out irl. Luckily i have an AD at about 3 miles from my place so ill go in tomorrow. And dont worry, i wont wear my rep navitimer or any rep for that matter
  24. Does it happen to be the one from dvn? I think if it doesnt fit properly i will try to find an extra clasp and do something like this: More pics: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?s=&amp...st&p=593578 Ive also thought about getting a bracelet for it but im afraid anything SS will ruin the look of the watch itself. You can definitely get away with it on your wrist, it looks terrific!
  25. so it doesnt look like you're wearing a wall clock? (to other people as well that is) Well glad to hear so since as i said mine are also about 6inches but id love to have a skyland for my next rep. How about bracelet/straps? I had to remove all links on my navitimer (or all but 2, one on each side as it seems that i cant remove those) but now it fits like a glove ive got the rep croco straps as well but i just dont like the look and feel of them.
