  1. That is one nice watch! Also it's the best pictures I've seen of it yet! Thanks! On the wrist, how would you compare it to a PAM111 ? Does it look bigger or smaller?
  2. Finally I got the deal about the crown guards! How does the black subs sold by our dealers compare to the ones in this video? The replicawatchreport guy is a member here, isn't he?
  3. They have finally nailed the wave pattern! The other seamasters have the top of the wave over the omega sign. This one is correctly aligned. Nice!
  4. Don't know about the rollies. (get the feeling people allways assume it's fake. In Norway at least...) This omega is nice: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...mp;#entry135162
  5. Talking about the Constellation: I wouldnt mind the Constellation Double Eagle Chrono!
  6. The 45mm is easy. The datewindow totally ruins it. The 42mm is not that easy I guess. Visited a high end store tuesday. Was wearing my cartier santos (rep) at the time, and I can't belive how accurate that is. Except from the "swiss made" spacing on the dial, I had problems finding anything. The band, that has been a topic on several ocations is really not that bad compared to the real deal. (Maybe if I could touch ond feel the real one, but by looks not that bad at all!) They also had the new smp chrono and all four PO versions. I have to say, the 42mm black PO isn't all that impressive, laying next to the orange. I have always wanted the black one, now I think the orange looks better, but the SMP Chrono is really stunning! They had lots of IWC's and Breitlings too. Really nice store! Have never seen the IWC's in person before. Expensive!!!
  7. Found this: I guess you van find more movies from that link.
  8. Did she actually find any flaws on that? In that case, what did she find?
  9. What's up with the lack of good womens replicas anyway? The omega constallation series, and the chanel j12 is pretty much what I have seen in decent quality. (And the ralexes, which is a big no no, according to my gf)
  10. My gf borrows my pam and my cartier santos, so I guess this Tag would be to small for her...
  11. Today I'm wearing the Omega GMT: (with the date wheel flaw... GRR!) Some month ago I put it in my watch box because it only worked 10 mins at a time. I picked it up again on monday, adjusted the time and date, and shaked it some, and it has been running perfectly since then... The magic of asian autos I think.
  12. Was the J12 in question the black one EL is offering now, or a white one? What did you have to pay for that? I have seen 2 versions over at wo-mart, one of them with "real ceramic", and that costed 4x the "ceramic" version. Does it make a lot of difference?
  13. lol! Great story! Of cource the "fake" watch she was comparing it to had some details more close to the genuine also, but the salesperson wouldn't know, since she obviosly never had seen the real deal.
  14. does the original come with a black dial, or just the blue stated in ahchards post? It looks amazing!
  15. You got a point... $108 trusty rep. http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=6202 But still a nice watch in my eyes.
  16. I don't have a functional chrono...
  17. OK, thanks. Another flaw on my rep then... crap! Still beautiful watch though...
  18. But what about this one: Picture is of the original. Looks like the seconds is on the big dial on this one? BTW: I'm pretty shure the one you posted is the one I spotted. Nice for him... Great watch.
  19. Spotted a watch on the subway yesterday, that really looked like a black dial speedmaster. Didn't manage see the omegalogo or OMEGA written. Didn't have my glasses on, and the minute hand was near 12 o'clock... What I DID see was this: -It was not a broad arrow, as the hands were sleek like the ones on the moon watch. -no date window -nine o'clock subdial was doing the seconds -the long, what I belive is the second hand, was just "camping" at 12 o'clock. -Looked well used I started wondering if the real watch has the seconds at nine o'clock, was it some sort of rip-off speedmaster design watch, or was it just a bad rep?
  20. Seems like I just had to break it in. Now it's working like a sharm!
  21. My latest beauty: On arrival: Bad mailman! After my first replica rescue mission: (OK, so I wore it all weekend, and didn't think about cleaning it for the photo shoot...) The original: Comments: -Asian 21j Automatic, fairly accurate. 30 sec - 1 minute behind a day. -No working chrono. Sometimes I get the subdials centered at 12 o'clock, sometimes this (in the pics) is the best I can do... -6 o'clock subdial has GMT function. -White hour, minute and second hands. Original har aluminium. -The hands are the usual bit to short as well. -Wrong subdial spacing. -Seconds at large dial, not 9 o'clock subdial. In my opinion a lovely watch! Fooled a girl that works in the local jeweler that carries Omegas at a party this weekend. I handed it over to her. -We carry Speedmasters, how much did you pay? $3000? -I could have... , I said and smiled...
  22. This week it has been the Seamaster GMT: ..Still with a black on white date wheel though....
  23. Managed to fix it myself! Getting the hand straight without spilling glue (very very small amount!) was kind of a headache. The hardest part is actually getting the bracelet adjusted. Will post pictures of the result in the gallery later on. Tools used: -Scissors and tape to remove the back. -Tiny screwdriver to release the crown -Fingers and tweezers to get the movement out -tweezers, glue and a sharpened match to adjust the hand.
  24. Well... It has to be a first of everything, right? Think I will try it myself. How hard can it be? I'm not going to operate on the mechanics, just a hand...
