Joshua has got a rubber strap for the 42mm PO. It fits your watch if you have drilled holes between the lugs on your watch. (All 42mm has this?) You can also look here: http://www.watchnet.com/forums/tradingpst/...mes;read=297036 for some good looking straps that will fit.
-
WOW! He has got these in both 20mm and 22mm? (His site didn't say...)
-
You have seen it before, but we can never get enough pics, right? And finally a pic of my Seamaster GMT on a rubber strap: (The rubber strap only looks good when the watch is laying down, because of the bad fit. The strap is the one for the 42mm PO.) These are the first pictures in my DIY cardboard box light tent. It needs some small adjustments to block out the light even more... ..and I badly need a polaroid filter!

What strap is that? It looked like a good fit!

Review Of The "ultimate" Planet Ocean 45mm
space replied to By-Tor's topic in By-Tor's Watch Reviews
Someone over at rwi wondered if you can swap the orange bezel with a black one or vice versa, and if a bezel can be purchased separately. A very interesting thought. It would be nice having two watches in one! (not to sound cheap, or anything... ) -
Review Of The "ultimate" Planet Ocean 45mm

Great review as always! I too would like to see a wristshot. I'm currently waiting for the postman to show up at my door with an orange one! I hope it's not to big for me, as I have kind of a thin wrist, but I use my PAM and Cartier Santos 100 daily, so I hope I can pull it off. -
I thought the genuine J12 only came in quartz? I recall reading a thread about it here earlier... Doesn't he have a cheaper version too? Maybe that's the one without the diamonds...
-
Looks like the same "engravings" that I have. Currently the locking mechanism on my clasp has broke, so I have to glue it before I can use it again. My white date wheel really bugs me... I guess I soon will be updating some updates on mine.
-
Was looking at those staps myself. Seller over at timezone? I considered the last one in your pictures above. Conidered trying a black nato strap with the PO as well. May look good.
-
Great review as allways! Looks like the exact same replica as mine except for the black datewheel. Does it say seanaster on the clasp? Someone said that the datewheel could be swapped with a ETA 2824 datewheel, but I would like to get this confirmed. I have the asian 21j movement too, and am waiting for the mailman to bring me a black rubber strap for it. (and a ultimate PO!!!) Hope the strap fits!

My Submission - Omega Planet Ocean 22mm Rubber Strap
space replied to r11co's topic in The Omega Area
I asket Joshua about a rubber strap when I ordered my ultimate PO some days ago. Here is what he answered: "Rubber strap are not made for the 22mm yet. It will be soon." When "soon" comes, I'll be down for one. -
All my replicas are working fine (both asian automatic and ETA automatic and handwind), except an asian auto Vacheron Constantin Regulateur. But the VC has a pretty complicated dial, and I geuss that is part of the problem. Too bad cause my girlfriend loved it. I have used my PAM (ETA) every day since I got it a year or so ago, and it still keeps fabulous time.
-
No, they are not the same size. the 45mm hands are obviously longer than the hands for the 42mm.
-
Have anyone tried a NATO strap on a PAM? Does it look good? Thinking black, olive or camo for my 111. A good or bad idea?
-
Did a little mod now: Polished bezel. Browsed some genuines and noticed they have a polished bezel. My rep has (had) a brushed finnish, so I snapped the bezel off, removed the insert, and started polishing. Genuine: my result: It still has some flaws, but now it at least really sparkles! Now I have a orange ultimate PO on my way from joshua, as well as a 20mm rubber band I will put on my GMT. Then I just need a white on black datewheel (and some longer hands....) Can someone please point out where the genuine has a polished surface, and where it's brushed? (The same for the bracelet) Are the bracelet sides polished or brushed?
-
Does anyone carry the 22mm black rubberband or leatherband for this watch? (I finally ordered one 5 minutes a go! in addition to a 20mm rubberband I will use on my Seamaster) Will I get it before christmas? How fast is Joshua? I'm exited!

http://cgi.ebay.com/OMEGA-SEAMASTER-PLANET...1QQcmdZViewItem Funny "This HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER OCEAN PLANET Timepiece, was not keeping accurate time for some reason, when we checked it. So we had a local timepiece mechanic replace the movement with a modified SWISS ETA AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT, to reduce our cost, and pass it on with a nice discount. The watch has a brand new movement that has been tested for accuracy over the proper amount of time. Everything has been restored to be in like new condition using replacement parts where needed, so the winning bidder should be very happy! Please keep in mind the watch repair person is not an Omega authorized person, nor we are not an authorized Omega dealer." And then further down: "..... And since a watch mechanic worked on this timepiece, we will give you a FULL ONE YEAR WARRANTY .... .... We guarantee watches with full documentation to be 100% authentic. All other watches are guaranteed to be exactly as described above. ....." I liked the part about the replaced movement! But I think most bidders know this is a rep...

http://cgi.ebay.com/OMEGA-SEAMASTER-300M-G...1QQcmdZViewItem I suspect a modded rep: -Unaligned bezel -wrong band? -genuine hands Selling for $1500

This is different from joshuas ultimate edition. Joshuas (borrowed from THIS thread): Look at the date window. Joshuas is closer to the gen i think. watch from this thread: edit: hmmm.. maybe it's just the angle of the shot? 913's genuine:
-
Several gens in this collection I think! Beautiful watches all of them! I wich my black/white GMT looked that good! And that black on the rubber(?) band is to die for...
-
Takker! I knew I had read a tutorial on how to do this. The big seconds hand is maybe harder to stop. I don't really have the right tools to work on such small details either. chrgod: Do you know where to get "watch tools" in norway? Where are you located?
-
Looks like the subdials and seconds dial are frozen. The 6 o'clock seconds is in the same position in all shots! I have a speedmaster with dummy 3 and nine subdials, 24h subdial at 6 and the stopwatchhand as seconds. How can I freeze the 6 o'clock and the big stopwatch seconds? The Tag looked very good in those shots!

What about the black with orange numbers? Then you'll have a little bit of both.
