  1. Go through BK - excellent service and QC, no customs worries!
  2. Me 2 (v 5)!! Please share info or source
  3. Chris, your open communication on the forum is great and very much appreciated. However, I must say that what has impressed me the most in my dealings with all of you (Chris, Patrick, and Seri) is the one-on-one communication and status updates I have received regarding my orders, which by the way, have been flawless thus far. The ease of the new website with all of the account status options made my experience (shopping, buying, very short waiting, and then receiving) all that much more informed and enjoyable. Thank you! Here's looking forward to many more pleasurable experiences
  4. Ok, as you have indicated, the (intedned) point of your story was that a cop didn't get your dry sense of humor. Evidently this thread is proof that "the cop" is clearly not alone...
  5. Thanks Tribal and Chefcook!! - that's exactly what I was wanting to find out.
  6. Yes, I have seen that as well but I am interested in exploring. So the question is still out there...Has anyone safely removed the entire bezel of an SSD?
  7. pfran42, Point taken, but if no one has ever successfully removed the SSD bezel how can you be absolutely certain that a gen (or modded gen) would not fit?
  8. Thanks Hike, I've searched and have read Gio's tutorial many times during my admittedly adolescent education into these things, but Gio only covers bezel insert removal, not the entire bezel. I remember reading awhile back that the SSD's were built differently or something along those lines and the entire bezel assembly was not easy to remove withour damage - which is why many developed the "leave the bezel on and just replace the insert" approach. If it is as easy as a regular sub or a gen, that would be great! I was just wanting confirmation from someone who has actually done it with an SSD before I scratched the crap out of my beautiful watch or damaged it.
  9. Does the method outlined for the gen SD work the same for the SSD?
  10. Has anyone been successful at removing the entire bezel of an SSD and then reassembling it without damage to the watch or bezel? I would really love some suggestions or guidance. Thanks!
