This looks like a fake. What do you guys think? Its definitely not a 2005. The rehaut seem a little off too. They seem like they have a few fakes. Look at their omega listed. The dial spaces look so far apart.
Thanks fingerlove.
Yeah, if i go that route i will change the whole assembly - movement, dial, hands, and crown. But then again, i may jut pick up a used gen from one of my watch dealers. If i choose to go frankin, ill post the photos and details.
Thanks for your replies.
I come across one for around $1200 before but it not a big deal if i have to pay $1700 for one. I may actually just buy a whole gen seadweller. I almost bought it before but everytime i went watch shopping and tried it on i went home with a different watch. I normally prefer 42mm or larger. However, i love the classic look of the seadweller.
As far as the wait, i have all the time in the world. I just wanted to see the quality of watchmaker 9's watches. Im a gen collector (aquatimer chrono, pam104, nardin maxi marine) but i have one SOSF rep (not very happy as the dial had some strange scratch lines on it and a faint marking). I can't wait to see the seadweller.
I just ordered at WM9 Seadweller. It probably wont be here until March. I am planning to put a 3135 movement in place if i can find one for around $1200. Im pretty pumped and i will post photos once i have it.
After reading all the good reviews of the sub WM9. Where can i buy one? Ive looking on all the dealer sites and nobody seems to sell them. Any help would be appreciated.
Hey Guys, I will be learning how to perform full services on watches soon. I will be working with a local watchsmith. It will take a couple months and several watches before i feel comfortable servicig watches for board members. I will keep you informed. I too will be doing this as a hobby and part time.
