  1. Happy Birthday i5475p!

  2. has not set their status

  3. Had a few new additions to the family that I thought I would show off !!! Still not satisfied with the lineup right now though.... what is wrong with me ? Ha Im thinking about selling a few off and mixing things up a bit. The problem is I love them all so much, Im not sure who I should part with. I know Ill never sell the PAM 111 or the Roli black submainer. They are just my babies. I'll probably let the Roli Sub LV go as Ive never worn it in 2 years, just love the way it looks in the box. Maybe the Chopard as I really wanted the White face GT XL anyway. The PAM 104J has become dear to my heart but its so close to the 111H that I may have to trade her up. There is a Michele watch in there as well that just doesnt see as much wrist time as it use to. My wishlist contains things like Panerais = Subs (GMT), PVD, White face, Ti Base Hublot BB Black Magic, IWC (Aquatimer , or 3717?) Omega PO 45 (need some orange in my life) When does the madness stop??? Will I regret getting rid of any of these guys? Are there any that I should NEVER let go? The 2 subs are swiss eta from eddie lee about 2 years ago. Anyway, thanks for looking and wish me luck on my journey !!!! New Ammo strap for the 111
  4. Hi I would like to be on the list as well. I emailed yesterday from my hotmail account but Im not sure what you are counting !!! Thanks KP
  5. Actually, It has grown on me quite a bit. As a rep , it will not replace my DSN 111H. I do have to say that as I am looking at purchasing a gen one day soon, the 104 could get some attention. I just love the silver hands on the black dial. It really stands out more than I thought. The auto movement and date function are great as well. Just a great watch. BUT... I think the 111 or 112 screams Panerai. I really like the sandwich dials, clear case backs, and manual wind movement. Would I change anything? well no, I am glad that I have seen this watch in person as it is one of my favorites on my wrist. A little more dressy than the 111. I AM still selling the 104 as my goal is to get my collection to 1 really nice rep from each PAM group Luminor Marina 44 (PAM111/112) Radiomir (PAM 183H or 210 if they get mvt right) Sub (186 , 092) Ulitimate 127 (HELP ME , these are all gone) Maybe a PVD Maybe white face (PAM 114) Maybe Cali Dial................................ GOSH, it never stops !!!!!!!
  6. First , let me apologize for the bad pics. I'm not good with the macro function on my camera. I did want to post a few pics and "mini review" of my recent "Upgraded 104" arrival from Andrew this week. In general, very nice watch and overall transaction. As you can see from the pics, I wouldn't rate the 104 quality as high as the DSN 111 but I dont think that would be a fair comparison anyway. I ordered the 104 knowing this before hand so my expectations set pretty low. The watch arrived in 2 weeks or so... not bad. I am SHOCKED by how nice this one actually is. The dial/ date and mag are fantastic. The Lume is not that of the DSN but its actually really good for pre-mod. The auto movement keeps great time. Its the first AUTO Panerai that Ive had ... nice not having to wind, but I think I've come to enjoy of the morning ritual of winding my 111H. I have to be honest ... I ordered this a couple of days after Andrew/ Josh posted the pics of the PAM autos and probably should have waited for a "Fiddy" from Angus or Davidsen that I've REALLY been trying to get ( NO STOCK ).... That said I may probably be posting this 104 for sale very soon. Then again, can we ever have TOO many in the box? As always, Thanks for all of your great knowledge. Im more of a "lurker" but take so much from your site.
  7. The last I checked none of the Sellers had them in stock... You may want to check before you place the order with Andrew. Good luck and let us know what you find out...I love the looks of this one.
  8. Hi So I broke down and ordered a 127 from Angus after reading this thread.... 3rd PAM this month thanks to you guys !!!! I found out yesterday that he is unable to get the movement from his supplier and is unable to build currently. He offered to refund the $$ or pick another watch. Im curious if the movement he is unable to get is the same that Davidsen has posted about today. I was thinking PureTime was using the Asian High Beat.... any word on those being out of stock as well? What ever do I do, Should I go with another dealer? Pick another watch from Angus? Seeing as I have a 111H and 104 ( on the way ) What is another winner from Angus to complete the collection. WOW, the addiction.... HELP PS.... Has anyone had much contact with PT this week? He has been fairly slow getting back to me , Im guessing he is still recovering from the Birthday celebrations
  9. So any new advice on the subs out there? I think the 243 and the 92 have been around a while but may be the highest quality sub reps. I dont think these have upgraded date mags and fonts though correct? these are nothing close to the 186/252 projects right?
  10. Anybody know if either of these models are available right now ? Andrew said he was out of stock . I really like the 186 (arktos) but the 252 is nice as well. I'd take either just like they are at this point I think. Are Andrew and Josh the only ones with these 2 at this quality?
  11. I am also curious about the current sub situation. What is available out there currently? Im interested in the ones above compared to Andrews PAM 92 ,PAM 243, PAM 186 (Arktos) and PAM 252 ( North Pole) I hear the 186, 252 are discontinued. What is a good high quality sub (44mm) out there right now?
  12. Great points and thanks for the information. My main concern was sending the watch back as I have little experience in how to deal with the customs issues. ( Didnt want to lose the watch totally ) I am working with David and will keep those points in mind. I previously had one of Andrews 111's and never had the problem with these straps so I assumed it was this specific case. Sorry for the bother and thanks again for the info.
  13. After much reading and research here , I decided to order a 111H from DavidSen on Dec 5 , 2007 I must first say that he is very responsive to all emails with quick turnaround. Shipping was extremely quick as well. I received the watch in US after about 4 days.... very pleased. NOW, the complaint. I have 2 upgraded watch bands that I purchased before even receiving the watch. A Zuegma and a Kevin's Ammo straps. After placing the Zuegma strap ( $175 ) on the 111 I began to notice extreme wear and cuts on the top of the band after only a couple of hours. I put a couple of other bands on the watch and saw the same problem. I took the band off and noticed some extremely deep scratches on the casing near one of the pin holes. I took some pictures and tried posting them here for you guys to take a look but its hard to tell how deep they are. Ive havent read of this being an issue before and didnt know if they could bend and cause this issue. I would just like to know what your take on the situation would be. I have asked Davidsen for some help. He is giving me the option to send the watch back to him and he will replace the case. I wouldnt mind this except for the fact that it seems to really put me out quite a bit for a problem that seems to be with the watch quality. He wasnt comfortable sending me the replacement first and letting me use his packaging to send back to him, so....... I have now destroyed almost $200 in watch bands and out close to $400 for the watch itself. Now Im supposed to pay to ship it back and risk losing with customs. Should I just give up on this one and purchase one from TWP , Andrew or another trusted dealer? I really like Davidsen and think that this is an honest mistake I just worry that trying to fix the issue may end up costing me even more, if not losing the entire watch. Sorry for the complaints here from a newbie, just wanted some ideas. Thanks for having such an amazing forum , everyone here is so helpful. This place rocks. Just for the record , this is in no way bashing Davidsen, Overall its been a great transaction and the watch is almost perfect to me. We will see how things are resolved before the final verdict.
