i been thinking in merge this model with a sec 12, using the titanium case and hands of this model with the newest sec at 12 movement and dial, it should make the best T3 ever, very expensive but nice possibility

Hi All
Just had a first attempt at a T3 my favourite watch (Having 8.5 inch wrist)
Almost the right size 58mm with seconds at 12.00 and almost correct hands !!!
Just wish I could find a titanium case (this one is stainless steel) but quite pleased
with the results.
Thanks for looking
Richard Lawton
Hi Richard seems that King had the 48 diameter titanium case

Fido, I see now what you mean.
I can try to merge both images... however....this is very time consuming...
And the last picture you have posted is not a picture, it seems a drawing....
can anybody find a better picture?
Francisco.

Looks good my friend. However, can't really live with the flaws (plate decoration, etc.). The silver subdial colour looks to be inaccurate too. On the genuine, it's matte silver colour. This one is too shiny.

think just putting some Cotes de geneve kind-a-like decoration will improve a lot the watch
do you mean to print?
or put?
they could put the same decoration that is on the PAM H series movement, can engrave the plate or just put on a sticker with the Cote d geneve decoration, that would be good enought (i think) even without gears

I am sure there is no problem to put a opaque decal there... for example, see my tuto about the Spanish flag on a HBB:
http://www.rwg.cc/members/Spanish-flag-FEF-Hublo-t89270.html
You can print on the decal what you want..however...do we have good pictures of the gen? will it look good enough? it is just a decal...
A picture of the gen follows:

Just found this:
here you can see the greyish subdials, not plain white, and also how close is the cyclop to the rehaut, also how unnoticiable are the details under the dial at certain distance

any more size comments, need to break a tie
I think too the size is 44 mm but accordingto the press released by AP is regulr 42 mm
"Cases
18-carat pink gold, grade 5 titanium or 950 platinum
Diameter: 42 mm
Ceramic bezel and pushbuttons
3D wheel-shaped medallion bearing the inscription Royal Oak Offshore Limited Edition Rubens Barrichello and adorned with the Rubens Barrichello logo
Water-resistance: 100 m"

AP bands has the band model for this good option for replacement right? at least cheaper than GEN
regrads
I think it looks pretty good. I'm wondering about the quality of the strap though.Could me hard and expensive to get it replaced by a gen one.
Also I'm a little concerned about the size.
Remember that some of us say that the standard ROO is a tank with 42 x 15.5mm.
This one is even bigger with 44 x 18mm.
Although the description says polished bezel, it seems like the side is polished and the top is brushed like the gen right?

Am I the only one that thinks a good part of the cyclops is cut off?
Is just the angle of the pic, same happens in the gen, actually the only flaw i can see, as many before pointed, is the missed gear down the dial, and we have to wait to se the serial number, should be xxx/1000

just this:
I'd rather see him wear a better piece. If he wants a quartz maybe he should go with a Breitling Super Quartz. Anyone know what Bush wore on his wrist? -
I think they could use Corian (yes the hard plastic used for kitchen surfaces) they can mimic the finish of the carbon , is really hard and light so it could be a really nice option for rep all the carbon pressed-AP

Hi
I have a bit of a problem with the Speedmaster rep I've got. It's too tight on my wrist with 5 links removed but too loose with 4 removed.
I have seen half-links on ebay for the seamaster, but are these available for the Speedmaster? It would really help me wear this watch more often if I could make it fit a little better.
All pointers welcome
Thanks
Adam

chemically, 904 contains more chrome and less carbon that makes the steel more resistant to chemical attack, thats increase a little the "shine" of the material, but is really hard to tell
