  1. yes is absolutly possible, i did it, i put a chinese case and dial inside of a mbk case, the only thing you have to do is wear a little bit around the bezel to can fix it inside the mbk case, remember the MBK dial/internal bezel is in one piece while the chinese is seprate pieces dial and internal bezel, but is really easy swap,

my only concerne would be: the new movement should be thicker than the old asian 7750, the backacase of the MBK is slimmer so there

  2. too bad is the same old chinese case ( the backcase is too thick ) not so well finished and bracelet too thick also, i wonder if mbk can source the movement and make is own version with correct running seconds, that would be the real ultimate ROO

the white dial with grey subdial looks really good for a rubber clad (just need the correct rubber bezel)

    just my 0,000000000000001 cents

cheerrs to all who already order,

    best regards

  3. ok, let me tell you about my latest (and first = P ) project:

i saw the MBK ROO is really nice (i already have 2 of them EOD and old model with markers) but start to like the big themes in black dial, but i notice the dial is not so acurate, is really nice and well done but after carefully inspected i realize that the chinese version is actually more acurate to the gen (except for the date window) the numbers have the "metallic ring" around them, the mbk lack this feature and the "cutted pyramids" pattern in the dial are too high

    Also all my mbk

  4. I recently bought my first rep that runs on the new Asian 7750 movement (28,800bph).

the chrono function works a little funny.

when I activate the chrono to ON (by pressing the button @ 2 o'clock), & I have the watch wearing on my wrist, if I start swinging my arms forwards & backwards (as if I'm running), the sub-dial hand for the hours @ 6 o'clock starts to move forward to 1, 2, 3, etc. when it shouldn't.

this hand starts to move regardless of how long I have activated the chrono function (1, 2, 10, or 20 min.), so it is moving forward when it shouldn't.

but, if I stop the chrono & reset all the hands back to the original START position, the sub-dial hand @ 6 o'clock doesn't move at all, even if I swing my arms really fast.

I just got this rep less than 2 weeks ago, so the movement should be new.

    don't know what's the problem.

anyone have experienced the same problem?

I really don't want to send it back to the dealer.

here is a link of my post:

something similar happened to me: the hour hands in my AP ROO MBK Swiss eta move when the chrono were not working, i open the watch and found a little part of rubber touching internally the (i don`t know the term :( ) "part" that reset the chrono (pusher at 4 o'clock) i just move that thing off and the movement start acting properly

    hope this help you

    regards

  5. jajaja no rare at all they use helium to fill the bags, is a non reactive gas that keep the internal enviroment safe for the oils and parts = )

    just my 0,00000002 cents ;)

While that may be true, they won't be able to use the ever rare "Swiss Gas" to fill the bag...and no, don't even ask if I am going to smell the gas when I open the package...

On another note about ETA movements, I just got the third price list in as many months. Until this past February I got a price list every year or so.

The prices for ETA's has gone up - AGAIN...a 2824/2836 Swiss (sealed pack) is now over $200...a surplus one is over $150...6497 is over $100 as well. The 2893-2 I just received is now over $350...

That is a doubling in the price of ETA movements in the past 6 months.

Spare parts are doing the same thing, through the roof...
