  1. I fail to see how any of that is relevant as none of the teletubbies even wear a watch.
  2. Get it? And yes, I need to wash my wife's car. I'll get right on that.
  3. Very nice. Thanks for putting together a very nice 1,000th post.
  4. Thanks for the detailed response. At $280, I'll have to pass. One might be getting good quality gold plating but all the errors just aren't justifying that price. Gold plating only uses a few cents worth of gold and a bit of time so, overall, this watch should be in the $135 - $150 range in my opinion. But regardless, I still like it. Enjoy it and wear it in good health!
  5. I just want to say Merry Christmas to all who use this forum. God bless.
  6. Flaws or not, I really like it. Which collector did you get it from?
  7. Kenberg, mezzanine, and l-dizzle, Many thanks for your replies and explanations. I just made the payment to join RWG!
  8. Well that settles it. I am joining and will become a supporter. I just wanted to ensure there was some good business sense behind how RWG is run. It really is a great site.
  9. Kenberg - They pop up in the banner at the top of the pages
  10. Having dived into this rep thing head first (8 Rollie's and shhh another make also so far), I've seriously considered becoming a supporter of this site. But one thing really bothers me. Why is a site like Exactreplicas.com permitted to advertise here when there are posts generally acknowledging that it is a scam site? It can't be just about the money. The owners and other supporters of the site shouldn't allow substandard companies to support the site. It gives the appearance that those companies are ok to do business with.
  11. That's very nice. It's look reminds me of an older but distinguished gentleman. Sturdy, classy, refined, a bit of age, etc.
  12. Verynice. Congratulations. May your wearing it always find you where you want to be and in the best of health. Congratulations.
  13. I just picked one up from Andrew for my wife. The hour markers look just fine. Without a loupe, I don't know how one would tell the difference. They are very subtle.
  14. Very cool! Waiting for pics....
  15. Yes, some searching here on the forum shows they were made for the Japanese market. Even if they weren't - I'd wear it because I like it! I'll have three other models in my hands today assuming delivery is on time.
  16. As I mentioned in my post of a week ago, I decided to jump into rep collecting. The first of my two orders arrived yesterday. It consisted of two pieces from Joshua which arrived in exactly 7 days. I am hoping to get the other three watches I ordered (from Andrew) today or tomorrow (I ordered then on the same day). I am really pleased with the sub. It feels good on my wrist. The Masterpiece was given to my wife as a birthday present. She was very impressed with it even after I told her that it is a rep. I decided to include a couple of photos in this posting. They are my first attempts and I obviously have a lot of room for improvement. But, they are better than not having pics! I'll post the first wrist shot in the next post. I can't get the pic size down far enough to get three in one post.
  17. All in all it makes for an extremely beautiful piece. Congrats/
  18. Picks will be coming! I was just checking out a desktop studio for taking pictures of small items just like these. It has diffusers, lights, backdrops, etc, and runs about $80 US. It should be just the thing for pictures of watches. And yes, I've already figured out that pictures on the wrist are quite manadatory. :)I look forward to learning a lot from all of the collectors here. Xyphis, it has crossed my mind. I intend to do that one of these days.
  19. Well, I have wanted a Rolex for as long as I can remember. Not wanting to spend the $$$ for the real thing, I delayed. I knew there were "copies" out there but never dreamt there was anything close to replicas. I stumbled accross RWG two days ago. After a lot of reading and some PMs, I made the following purchases this morning. Two will be gifts for others and the rest are for me. RDJLS10020 SS Masterpiece Blue dial Diamond Markers Eta 2671 RLSS10004 SS Blue Dial (Summer Blue Special Ed) Swiss Eta ROLSDA01 - Rolex SeaDweller SS RDJLD0033 - DateJust Ladies Silver Dial Diam - Pres - Swiss 2671 ROLSUB0001 - Rolex Black Submariner SS - Swiss ETA 2836 I still plan to purchase two more within the day (from PT). I'm not bragging here, I am just ecstatic that a deep desire can finally be filled. Now, I'll read some more on RWG, get me some tools, and eventually get into some mods once I understand enough about what can be done and how to do it. Heck, I'll try anything twice. Thanks to everyone who makes all of this wonderful info avaialble and also to the collectors who make the reps available. Now, were is the best place to get a new pearl....? Tee-hee!
  20. Thanks all. I checked out the suggested areas and am finally startting to see how to contact these traders.
  21. So, I just joined. I must say I am impressed with the site. But, there is so much information that I can't find what I am looking for... My wife's birthday is one week away. What are the best sites to order replica Rolexes from? Thanks in advance for the assistance.
