In fact it's a good way to buy a gen on auction sites. If you're looking for a Carrera Tachy and it has the top photo with the cut rotor... you know you're getting a gen. Well, as of the writing anyway until China updates...

I sure hope the watch comes... it probably will. Think about how stoked you'll feel when it show up! If not however, you're basically out of luck because you can't contest the charge against your credit card. They will take you very seriously and start to fill out the forms over the phone until you tell them the purchase was for an illegal counterfeit watch purchased with the express knowledge that what you were doing was breaking the law. Kind of like getting a refund from that pesky bald-headed bookie that carries a baseball bat around... Visa wants nothing to do with that. Either way you're on the right rail now and this site will definitely guide you straight...

Hey Guys, does anyone have a good recommendation for a one stop person to send my Navitimer World too? I need to get the AR treatment and date-wheel fixed. One of the biggest peeves I have with this watch is the loose bezel... I presume it's not water proof because of this and it makes a rattling sound when I make sudden movements. Hopefully there's a fix for this issue. I

These pictures are of a GEN for comparison purposes. I thought they might help show the differences between the rep... not to mention they really show how sweet this puppy is. I can't wait for someone to get rep pics like these... It's unfortunate that some of the rotor is hidden but still gives a good idea of the shape

21k? Wonder why the case is so thick then... That's a real drawback. It would be nice if someone put a short video of the movement in action on youtube. Perhaps someone will as they start rolling in.

Yea, thanks for being willing to post some pics! I'm not really to concerned about the thickness... we all pretty much know what that's going to be... I'm more curious about the close-up and overall quality of the piece!

Hey Deltic... is this the new suposid "super" Grand Carrera or is this the one of the other versions? Yours is QUITE a bit different than what the sites are advertising. I should mention Deltic... CONGRATS! I don't mean to put your new treasure under a microscope but I think you're the first to receive this - or at least post a picture! Please post more in different lighting and on your wrist! Take that puppy outside around 5pm for some cool evening shots. Maybe some good closeups of the back. We all want to share in your excitement

* The second hand is WAY off from the gen. * As noted, the screw is not real on the registers. * The dial says something completely wrong - something about a depth reading in meters (the minute hand is in the way) but the Gen says "Automatic" * the galuche pattern on the registers is pretty sad. * The applied logo is also incorrect as it's not painted in the background. * something doesn't look right with the date window... not large enough/deep enough... it's more of a rectangle on the gen and come much closer to the 6 marker. * The hour markers don't look as "sharp" or sharply cut. Gen looks like they have a razor edge. ** As everyone knows the rotor is messed up and the case is 3mm to thick Anything else? QUESTION: Are the pushers Screw-Down? QUESTION: What is the general feel of the watch compared to one you've held at an AD? BUT with that said, I don't think 99.9% of people would realize any of this.

Hey Noel Fleischer... I'm basically waiting for you to get yours so PLEASE report back. Include some pictures too if you will... so we can get a good "real world" look. I dont think the 3mm will bother me to much as long as it has the look, feel and overall quality. Did you get white or black?

For sure look into the Aqua Day/Date... I bet you could bring that in to ten AD (authorized dealers) and not get found out by nine of them... probably all ten. The Carrera's are nice, I actually own a gen in this model and don't think the rep is very good right out of the box (not the silver dialed one at least). But a little work will champ it right up.

These are sooo awesome but I don't think it's such a good idea to buy a rep of one of these. Any Gen tourbillon I've ever seen starts at a minimum of $100,000.00 plus. If I see you wearing one you're either obviously wearing a fake or your unconscious from my sneak attack! Kidding! I'm dying to find the right no-namer.
