  1. I poached this from Trailboss at RWI sure he will not mind as a public service announcement. The Situation in China 06-02-20, 13:56 Folks, I've been talking to a few of the dealers either by phone or via email and the situation in GZ and Shenzen is pretty dicey. Some of them have told me that they will not be returning to work on Monday as the situation is such that they are not prepared to risk the health of their employees. Most will still be checking emails as that can be done from the safety of home but having people attend the offices and/or go to the markets is just too risky. At any rate I believe a lot of the markets will also not be opening as scheduled. In other words, if you have stuff ordered you are just going to have to be patient, you getting your watch is not worth someone catching this thing and taking it home to their children and elderly. Lives are worth more than our trinkets getting here on time and I had best not hear about anyone complaining to the dealers about delays. It may well be out of their hands anyway as the factories are also putting health first, are yet to reopen and may not do so for some time. Also one other thing, you WILL NOT catch this virus by ordering stuff from China, the virus can not survive for long outside a host. Please read here: https://www.npr.org/sections/health-...ail-from-china and here: https://www.who.int/emergencies/dise...c/myth-busters
  2. Next no paying members /VIPs, now I know some of the guys on this list for years (not singling you out there are many many more) but we unlike other boards are nonprofit a VIP is 30 bucks a year that's $3.50 USDs a month. So don't be a asshat come on help us keep the lights on for less than a buck a week , that is less than a cup of coffee!!!
  3. Guys we are doing a fund raiser for a member in need there are 118 of us here right now so a lot of money is not key but a lot of participation is! Think about just 5 bucks from that group would add up to over 500 dollars!! The PP is mvmsr22@gmail.com put in your form name in notes I will PM you w/ details, rather than put this out in the open. I'm sure you would rather it that way if it were you. So whatever 5-10 bucks more if you can, it all adds up.................
  4. Well gents we had two members scammed on the same watch and a bit of drama over a build to good to be true vs price (legend will buy check out and it sure looks like a great watch). We are working on some changes to the structure and rules of the sales area to keep us safer as I post this. Now if you have not read this please do. We hope to roll out the new stuff in a week or so and I will post here first once completed so you guys can get familiar and express your thoughts. As always there is no absolute security I can't give you that. We would like to remain true to our policy of not being heavy handed in our moderation, this requires more time and effort by our mod team but we feel it is worth it to keep RWG the way it has always been. PS sad to say Christmas time is scammer time, be extra careful.
  5. Guys FYI : I know you see me logged in a lot but at times working so keeping an eye on things as much as I can (not answering PMs and posting). Rest assured that if the shit hits the fan I can get on my phone and do something just has to be an emergency as busy with my patients.
  6. Gentlemen, there has been a tragedy; my good friend Legend and one of our most prominent members has lost his Mom, home and all his worldly possessions in a tragic fire . I have researched customs in Singapore and a monetary gift to help with funeral expenses is appropriate. Legend's generosity here is well known helping other members ,supporting RWG through our raffles and countless other ways, I think it is only fitting that we return in kind. So send what you can to PP mvmsr22@gmail.com , a little goes a long way there are many of us. In closing, I can not think of a person here more deserving of our support at this time , our prayers and heartfelt sorrow are with him.
  7. UPDATE April 17 2013 Due to the high demand for AP lume, AR and movement service we decided to hire another watch smith to help us do "Full service”, he will be dedicated to: *take movement apart *clean using ultrasonic *put movement back together, oil, lube and grease then regulate beat and rate. I will still do all other mods like always! This will improve our turn around time by at least 30% PLEASE note that till will affect work received after April 25 2013 All other work already with me will be finished ASAP. Thanks for your support over the years and looking forward to provide the same or better quality with shorter turnaround.
  8. 1st, I apologize for this thread having taken so long to appear. 2nd, we are working to sort out the member upgrade procedure. Unfortunately, at this time, that is all I can tell you. Please know that Admin is working on this & once the system has been updated, it will be announced here.
