Hey guys, Any info on where I can get a datewheel overlay that fits a a2824 and fits a genuine dial? The current datewheel is too far too the right. Basically a watchsmith is fixing a previous watchsmiths “fix” where he swapped the original a2824 for some garbage.

Hello Guys, I am back with this lovely roulette DWO, it is based on RWG friends and spend over 20 hours reshaping the font with AI, Photoshop, etc.... And finally ! I achieve it! Print with semi-plastic with black and red ink, it is Braille, on top of the DWO as gen, not print IN the paper. This DWO is suitable for eta movement, or DG, but not gen movement sorry. The price is 70 USD Firm include Hong Kong small post, if you need it fast, please tell me when you PM me. Please Comment below if you have any question! I will answer ASAP.

I find DWO alignment to be overly time consuming and sometimes frustrating. I had been thinking about how to speed up the process with a 3d printed tool until Bonesey mentioned something I hadn't considered. Because there are 31 dates on the wheel, they are not spaced such that you can make four windows at 3,6,9, and 12. So I worked it out using a little trig. I made this prototype "dial" that should aid in the centering process... Here it is overlayed on a genuine 3035 date wheel: It has five windows cut out around the dial, and three slots intended for manual alignment. The two small holes are meant for replacement dial feet that you just slide in from above and glue in place. These are located for an ETA 2824/2836. I still need to test it to see how well it works, but things look promising: the 3035 dates seem to fit properly, as expected. Bonesey is planning to include something like it as part of his 3d printed tools suite: http://www.replica-w...ad.php?t=164231 Any comments or ideas about how to improve the tool are appreciated.
