kramerica2 Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 (edited) I'm looking into buying the cheaper version of the 3717, and every dealer has them with the asian 21j movement which usually mean (as they admit) non working chrono. I was actually hoping to find a quartz version with a working chrono. Then I looked at watch eden, and found this one: http://www.watcheden.com/iwc-pilot-chrono-...-19786-p-1.html They claim that it's a working chrono. I've never seen an automatic working chrono at that price (108$ after coupon). What's the catch? Which movement are they using? Ok, I got it... It's not a chrono at all. It's something else... But does anybody know if the pushers do anything? Edited July 4, 2009 by kramerica2
tomhorn Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 Quartz with a working chrono will have bad subdial spacing and the watch you linked to isn't even close to accurate. You can fairly regularly find the A7750 version up for sale from members for the low twos (without mods). IMO, you'd be better off uppping your budget a little and grabbing one of those.
