beano2004 Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 Came across this at a yard sale and I was wondering what is the real differenc between the two dials i'm not sure if this is a 250 or a 236 or are they the same.... Not a perfect dial however seeing this is the first time i have seen a 250/236 dial around
Watchmeister Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 I gotta find your yard sale. Great dial. If it isn't you someone has to make a superfranken out of this one.
takashi Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 Looks to be 250 dial. The 12, 9, 6, 3 subdial is lumed on the gen.
coolfire Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 Looks to be 250 dial. The 12, 9, 6, 3 subdial is lumed on the gen. Looks like one to me too, mate...
beano2004 Posted July 5, 2009 Author Report Posted July 5, 2009 I own this dial so im not sure what the value of this is worth in its current state....
TK471 Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 Nice dial. Seems like I know a certain modder that could bring this one back to life.
w0lf Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 I can imagine this thing sitting with an orange $5 sticker over the 3 o'clock subdial next to old Barry White LPs and Norman Rockwell tea set.
beano2004 Posted July 6, 2009 Author Report Posted July 6, 2009 Actually is was sitting next to Michael Jackson albums all marked down to $5 each i just could not resist.
elisiX Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 236 and 250 are the exact same watch bar the inclusion of a bracelet on the 250. ps. That dial is sick.
siesta181 Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 I could use one of these to complete my project...
rnewbie Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 I own this dial so im not sure what the value of this is worth in its current state.... Nice dial. hmmm, its a tough call regarding its value in its current state. The dial is certainly tough to get but since a genuine 250/236 watch can be had for 5-5.5K USD, I would guess that a perfect dial with hands would fetch around 800-1K USD. So one that's not perfect without hands - perhaps in the $300-400 range.
elisiX Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 If I were in the market, i'd pay upto $450 shipped inc. PP. Again, looks incredible and would love to see someone complete this project.
takashi Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 Why not swap it with brand new Panerai dial? As long as you have the old one, chances are you can get the brand new dial.
capice Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 nahhhhhhh, its $100 worth.... so I will take it
