  1. Its a shame but a small issue really. To think overall how far reps (PAM's mostly) have come in the past year or two is astonishing. Perhaps some more effort will be put into the lings in the next year
  2. Real good. Busy working and planning a wedding (yes im doing the planning) for May 2012. Keep the AP pics coming. Nice to see someone displaying something other than the diver exclusively.
  3. lol Dave. Was sent a link to something over here and realised i'd not posted in forever. So Hi RWG'ers. And fair call on the Quai Lo... Those Breits need a darker red / maroon DW.
  4. Very clean looking watch. Be great once they get the latest EXPII right.
  5. This is what i'm wearing today.
  6. The past year really has been quite amazing for reps. Noob factory have done very well. 29M looks the biz at present - just in time to finish out the year.
  7. You can make out the gloss fill on the second pic. Looks pretty special B.
  8. Pretty sure that these are very accurate on the whole. As with other Bentley models, the datewheel is a little too red though.
  9. As usual Lani - your words make more sense than mine.
  10. All of these threads across various forums arguing back and forth over who's e-penis is bigger are really kinda silly and the constant speculation is ridiculous. I don't see the need for 5 bloody forums really but the fact is there are. Many of the people in this community are part of 2, 3, 4 or more of these forums and I am one of them. Each forum serves a different purpose and I guess has a different feel to it and seeing as everyone's different, perhaps it does make sense for there to be 5 after all. In saying that, I don't understand the point in wasting your time to investigate such matters. Each forum acts and runs independently of each other while participating in a black market hobby. I'm not even here to defend RG. While I am a member there and it's the forum i've spent 99% of my time at for the past 2 years, these days I concentrate my time elsewhere @ WC. RWG (this site) has always been a great alternate place for me to read up on all of the great information provided by those with the most experience. IMO, let it be. Nothing's going to change from this and it doesn't affect RWG at the end of the day. No n00b is scanning through Google to find a rep forum only to choose one with 25000 members vs 22000. In a hobby that is what it is, integrity IS paramount I must agree. At the end of the day though, what RG does wont change the reputation this place has built for itself so don't bother. The last thing I want to say is that its a pain in the ass having to check 3-4 forums every day on the same subject!
  11. Yup I agree. Don't even bother with the replica 270 or 233 - it looks very wrong IMO. Many other great models you can mod slightly to be much more accurate.
  12. lol yes it's beginning to feel like that..
  13. Hey fellas... Picked this one up just yesterday but it might be moving to a new home very soon (no need for 2 1950 In-House movement monsters after all). The OEM croc on the 270 is seriously incredible and the grain on this particular strap is spectacular. One of the best i've ever seen without doubt.
  14. Hey Guys.. Some new arrivals this week and .. OH MY GOD .. :D As you would all know, i've had my Vac built 5004 on HK Tan for some time and its become one of my most favourite watches. HK Tan makes a great strap for about $190 shipped and its done itself proud for the past few months. I had no idea what I was missing out on though. Well recently I began looking around to source a second hand OEM Black Gator. I almost bought one brand new but one came up on TZ. The strap arrived a few days ago and has completely transformed the watch for me. The rep buckle on the SS 5004 is a little short and bent too much so it feels like I am between holes (HK Tan fit perfect), but the quality cannot be matched or argued - especially for $300 (YES $300!) USD shipped and PP. It's easily in 95% condition. About the same time as I began looking for this OEM Black Gator, I came across another stunning piece which was doing the SoCal rounds and one i've had my eyes on for some time - the IWC 500402 (White Gold BP). This is perhaps the most stunning watch (Gen or not), that i've ever had in my possession. (yes that's a big call). The WG BP is also on OEM Gator, this time in the Brown. These pics were taken very quickly this afternoon but you get the idea. Vac modified IWC 5004 SS on OEM Black Gator Un-modified IWC 5004 WG on OEM Brown Gator I didn't keep many of the pictures which showed the difference of the stock factory AR vs Chief's AR, but its pretty bloody obvious. I really want to send this out for Chef to do his magic (and Vac his lume) but I dont know if I could bare to be without it - not just yet anyway. Ill see how I go but the blue is quite strong.
  15. Thanks guys. Yes the TG is a standard V1.. Looking to get Vac to build me a V2 though I think.
  16. Hi All, New watch in the collection today.. the IWC Top Gun. Caught a few quick pictures this afternoon.
  17. Turns out I was wrong... So who wants to buy a 95% condition HKTAN OEM spec black gator for thier 5004? $120 shipped.
  18. Actually looking at my HKTAN, it seems as though the edge stitching is done on the outer side of the strap and the box stitching on the inside (tail side). Maybe there's nothing wrong with his strap after all. lol. I was sure I read that the stitching had changed though.
  19. Thanks guys. I love Pic#3 actually. I literally just sat the watch on my kitchen window and it came out well. Then I added some contrast and saturated the color but I didn't add anything artificial. Question.... looking for an OEM BP 5004 strap and found one second hand online. Now the odd thing is that one side of the strap has the box stitching around the rivets, and the other side has the edge stitching around the rivets. (see pics). Guys didn't notice it (or know any different) until I mentioned it but he says that when he bought the strap @ the AD, he had a few to choose from and picked the best grain's. I think he's selected 2 pieces from both an old style and new style BP 5004 strap as I am sure I read that they changed the stitching style on the later version from box to edging. Can anyone confirm this?
  20. lol my bad. Should be in the IWC forum. Mod can you please move? I am a Panerai nut and it was a force of habit i'm afraid.
  21. Hey All, Took a few pictures this afternoon which did turn out exactly as I had planned... but I hope you like anyway. Jay ps. They're deliberately noisy and colourful
