    DSSD V3

Nice pics mate. Looking sharp. Lume looks fantastic.
  2. Latest LH 111I $1200 + Vaclume $150 = all you will ever need. It's bloody accurate.
  3. Some real significant pieces there dadog. Especially like that 082. Something different.
  4. That's the PAM I aspire to Dave.. such class.
  5. lol Dave. Thanks. Thanks for the comments on the pics guys. I really should play around with a little black cardboard and try reduce the reflections. The domed crystal makes it very difficult to photograph and I only have 2 hands..
  6. One day... Although, I must say. I've spent a good couple hours on a few different occasions handling the Gen BP, and its bloody difficult to tell them apart. Obviously the movement is nowhere near as nice/smooth/sexy on the rep, but other than that.. its very accurate. One other item I can tell by is the date font, a little thicker/bold on the Gen. I bought the 233 because it cant be repped. Not anywhere near accurately anyway. The BP was high on my Gen list when I bought the 233 but with this rep, why bother. Am hoping to add the new TG Ceramic, DSSD V3 (?) and a UN of some form over the next few months.
  7. The GMT hand is adjusted with the minute hand (IIRC). And the regular hour hand is adjusted by jumping. The BP has Chief AR, HK Tan OEM Spec Gator, DW Mod, regulated movement and Vaclume. It's bloody incredible for the money compared with the Gen.
  8. Mate I'd have to say the 233 really. I'm totally smitten with the BP though.
  9. Hi All, Just had some free time this afternoon so thought I might take some pictures of the current stable. Lots of pics so bare with me. Panerai 233K Luminor IWC Big Pilot 5004 Breitling Super Avenger Nixon 51-30 All Black And here's a new wallpaper of the first picture below. 2560x1600 http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n408/el.../DSC_0017wp.jpg
  10. Mate do you know if he opened it up and confirmed this?
  11. Do we know why RG is going down? Server or Hosting provider?
  12. Looks great bollo. I am a fan of the blue/white version. Only problem is the color of the dial on that one - its not very accurate. Did the bracelet need oiling etc? Looks pretty damn nice I must say. Do you think that if you took off the outside AR it would make enough fo a difference to the blue hue? (im assuming its double AR)
  13. Great dial. There's a couple of these blue dial baton franken's floating about.
  14. Really cool bezel's. Be great to see them in person. Throw the Ocean Racer on the Skyracer and I'm set.
  15. Now that really has come together nicely. Very impressive Richard.
  16. Mate could we possibly get some natural light (no flash) pictures outdoors (wrist shot perhaps?) Looks awesome!
  17. Looking awesome on OEM. Are the dial numerals metallic? (is that correct to gen if so?). Seems as though when direct light hits then, they appear too bright/light. The first 2 pics (more shadow) look great and more accurate to the pics i've seen. It's a shame they haven't got the color quite right on this and the Volcano. 2 really awesome pieces.
  18. The tunnel on that white dial looks amazing. I always prefered the OEM crock on my 188 over anything else. The contrast was incredible and it really did dress the watch up. I think I will miss all of my strap though, lol. And as for owning a Gen like this.. its not hard. You just gotta sell ALL your reps!. lol. Now that's the hard part!
  19. I've sold off almost all of my straps. As incredible as they are, I just cannot take the OEM tunnel strap off my 233K. The great thing about this strap is how it 'frames' the dial. With the domed crystal, as you can probably tell, its extremely difficult to photograph. In person, there is a similar effect of the crystal and the busy colored straps just complicate it (my Ted Su Croc's). Unlike the 111K in which the dial is much more 'plain' and can handle a much busier strap. Im hoping to add a bunch of Simona straps though once she has new stock in June. Lots of pictures here guys. I really need to get myself a nice macro and tripod though.
  20. The gen dial's available for this watch just take this to another level. Very nice mate.
  21. I agree. The 233 is da bomb. I've considered selling the SA with the quality Franken which can be built these days. Might have to snap up another PAM or save for a Gen BP. The strap on the 176 was a Strap Culture Legend II I believe.
  22. Thanks guys. I certainly have had a LOT of fun with this bunch. About 1/3 of the way through collecting I decided that I would buy enough to switch to a Gen and continue that pattern. Thing is I ended up with about 14 reps at one point and just couldnt let them go. It was very hard to sell them. It was only when I became within reach of the 111 and SA together that I decided to make the move. Even then I still kept 5 or so reps. But once the 233 was within reach, all over red rover. It was serious Gen time.
  23. And how could I forget .. Panerai 233K Genuine Panerai 1950 Manifattura GMT This is the main reason all of those watches above have gone. The Panerai 233K is a stunning watch to hold, wear and shoot. So many incredible aspects make up what is truly a nice watch. The sandwich dial with domed crystal just make this watch so unique. One surely to be trouble for the factories to mod with its triple barrel movement. Breitling Super Avenger Genuine Breitling 2008 White Baton The other half off the reason I sold off my collection. The SA rep was always one of my favorite replica's and I was always regretting its sale, but all in the pursuit of perfection. You simply cannot get much more perfect than genuine. This massive watch with striking dial is always getting attention, both good and bad I might add. I'd like to switch it to either a black croc or black ocean racer to mix things up a little at some point. Panerai 111K Genuine TedSu Gator/rcrscom baseball glove This was my first genuine Panerai and while I only owned the watch for a 3-4 month period, it was such a pleasure. If it weren't for my desire to always outdo myself, this would still be in the collection. The reason I bought the 111K was simply because at the time, the available replica's of this watch had been pretty damn dismal. Always inaccurate and something small to just nag at you. Little Hero's latest version is incredibly accurate and it is one high on my list of reps to obtain this year. That and/or the 219 Destro he has put together. Paired with anything from TedSu, this watch is perfection. And some general Panerai collection shots during its hey day.
