Guest Sql_pl Posted July 18, 2009 Report Posted July 18, 2009 So I just noticed this watch at Josh's site... figured it would be kinda cool for summer with its black and yellow colour scheme... and then I noticed this: Here is gen for reference: Yes, "Lid" instead of "Ltd" right there in the face. CRAZY. Especially after this statement: "Made with 2 Genuine Watches as Sample.. Limited Edition Dial"
bwhitesox Posted July 18, 2009 Report Posted July 18, 2009 I think they do it delibrately as we have seen spelling mistakes before on watches but the final watch ships with the correct spelling. If I remember it was Angus that said they do that so they can differentiate between the gen and the rep. One rep is made from the gen and then that is copied for the rest of the batch.

z3k0 Posted July 18, 2009 Report Posted July 18, 2009 I just wanted to comment on that line - "Made with 2 Genuine Watches as Sample" I think I know what they mean - it's made with two gen watches, because they put one on top of another and they made a rep that thick : Compared to gen: And, is that green/blue datewheel ?- it's supposed to be white on all models.
