Ronin Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 Hey, thanks a lot for that article. That is great. The watch came with a "DVD" of promo videos. Let me know, and I can make available an ISO image of the DVD. The low quality versions are on YouTube.
By-Tor Posted February 11, 2010 Author Report Posted February 11, 2010 This thread deserves a BUMP! I've been shooting some wrist shots lately. This one ain't half bad.
JohnDorian Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 Couple points on the 1911 Discovery differences from gen on the panda dial. See pics of gen: http://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=378590&highlight=ebel The gen has a silver seconds hand at 9. The date window is beveled The subdial circles are lighter gray not dark gray or black. The "AUTOMATIC CHRONOMETER" lettering is smaller and thinner Some quality problems from a lot of rep pics I see is the space between the bracelet and the lugs is kinda huge and the B is crooked. The crown on the gen is also more shaped.
By-Tor Posted March 30, 2010 Author Report Posted March 30, 2010 @Johndorian: Good find. I found a video of a gen BTR (similar as Ronins).

Agreed with the letter sizing. Crown look the same. Maybe eagle eyes can chime in.
JohnDorian Posted April 1, 2010 Report Posted April 1, 2010 Hmm every rep photo I've seen has a creme colored seconds hand.
