Richard Tracy
Thanks Szumi,... Here is data from iwc.com Glass: sapphire, convex, antireflective - Water-resistant: 3 bar (30 m) - Case diameter: 40.9 mm - Case height: 12.3 mm I don't see the panda at iwc .. So maybe you were right... the panda is a fantasy... so looks like my decision was made for me.... White & gold it is.... & at 41mm..Perfect size, imo.. as I found the Jones to be too large in design... Notice how they are making a great attempt at reproducing the dial silver patina of the gen ? Finally !!! I wonder how long it will take our dealers to obtain them ?? I'm feeling the excitement again....
zbig
Panda is not fantasy, I find on the seller site. But on IWC web is not shown

PAMman
The 'Panda' is certainly not a fantasy as it is currently in my local AD's window display. This is the IWC for me, especially with a Swiss 7750 fitted.
zbig
But I think the dial is too shiny (like in older version navitimer subdials) and glass must be AR coating (but this is not problem, change the glass). JWR
Panda is definitely not a fantasy, Jamie Foxx wore one in Miami Vice... (black with white subdial eyes)
zbig
I never had a problem with asian 7750 old and new version. I have 4-th of them, asian 7750 old: avenger chrono, 196, navitimer and new 7750B1: Daytona. I think that all problem with 7750 is by owner. Nevermind are asian or swiss. ab2450
Has anybody bought anything from them? I was looking also at their other watches and it seems they have really excellent reps...
Richard Tracy
Honpo has been around for a long while... we even have Ken a Honpo dealer in our forum... or had... I'm starting to look at the panda again... maybe I will get both... These could be the only dress watches I will ever need... the rest of my collection is geared towards sports.. so these would be a welcome edition.... Pugwash
This is the gen: I want one. Has anybody bought anything from them? I was looking also at their other watches and it seems they have really excellent reps... Usually, stuff that appears on that site hits our dealers shortly after. JWR
Running seconds at six is not good... sounds like the Daytona syndrome... I thought most of the problem with the Daytonas was that all of the subdials were shifted, not just the seconds.... It will be interesting to see how this one plays out

Guest Sql_pl
I am afraid the dials may be a bit too shiny... but I still love them. I think I prefer the non-panda version... wish they could make a blue handed version of it.... like this one: Cheers!
Guest Sql_pl
We know they can get the seconds @ 6:00, but how'd they get a 60 minute counter on a 7750? It's easy... they made 30 minutes subdial.. if you run it twice you get 60 minutes
ubiquitous
Okay... So, what are we talking case size, then for the rep? 41mm-ish? I haven't translated it yet, but I'm assuming that's what this says... ケース41ミリ/ケース形状完璧!
