I am not so sure about it. I used my watch during the bath and steam get inside. I would not recommend to take your watch for water activities. I use my g shocks for that. trailboss Posted August 12, 2009 Report Share Posted August 12, 2009 Yep, whilst in fact most reps are indeed water proof to at least 3 or 4 ATM and those that arn't can usualy be made so (with the exception of some dress watches)ALLWAYS have them tested first. But I've opened three of them that I received this past month, and two out of three did not have any silicone on the gaskets. And one of those had a gasket which had been squashed by the case back. The PAMS are next to the Rolexes that are easy to water resist, although I won't trust the Daytonas! My AP ROOs and Chopard MM have passed the 10 ATM test after I greased all the rubber parts!
