Nanuq
Here's a tasty little number on the 'Bay. It's a 300T with the flat crystal (sorry, Randy). It looks to be complete and in great shape, and it has the ever-so-elusive vintage Beads of Rice bracelet. Check it out! Doxa SeaRambler
chubbchubb
Great classic divers watch....
ubiquitous
It's a great piece, and I'd absolutely consider it... But since we spoke yesterday, I think I have come to the conclusion that domed is the way to go Of course, I'm sure that when the right one turns up, I won't be ready to buy... Nanuq
Don't be so sure about that... the kind folks here at RWG are the ones that pointed me to the Ebay auction for this little beauty. Click/verify/buy. It took about 2 minutes to make my decision. Who knows when the next one will pop up?

docblackrock
The Sea Rambler.....what a great name How does one "ramble" in the big blue then? I can understand 'Dweller' or 'Racer' but 'Rambler'? Sounds like the the perfect watch for a Scoutmaster, eh Nanuq? Couple of things....is that silver dial naturally aged or is that some water damage I see? Also check out that caseback o-ring My god, the rubber on my 18" alloys isn't much thicker. Lovely-looking piece though, especially on that ricebead bracelet. Case shape is very Autavia-like which I love. A very affordable alternative to the similarly styled and equally gorgeous Ploprof on sharkproof bracelet.
ChipSlap
Perhaps "Sea-Rambler" is what one would wear if taking a stroll on top of the Sea of Galilee.

I think you're right, there seems to be some water damage to the dial. Amazing that any got past that massive o-ring! That's how all the vintage Doxa are built. Here's how one "rambles" on the sea... this was outside Nome on the sea ice downwind from the Topkok Gorge. 70mph winds from the right.
