Justasgood
Any better compared to this: Original or this After paint And would you say that this is genuine Ceramic?
Jkay
Unfortunately the color balance in each of those photos is completely different. It's impossible to see subtle changes if the camera takes a different picture each time.
ammandel
Its just hard to tell generally, even if I took pics of my gen for comparison.. The new bezel insert you have on looks great, on the gen its a kinda really bright silver so much that it looks white until you pay close attention. As for reflection because its ceramic it should have quite a strong, clear reflection thats more mirror like (and doesnt warp the image its reflecting) where as plasticy inserts would warp the reflection. Best way I can describe it!
gioarmani
Shoot it in natural light--best way to tell. Yes, the bezel-insert is real cerachrom. Contrary to the oversimplified naming-convention, the chemical make-up and structural integrity are nothing like typical "ceramic".
ryanrod
Hey get one of these: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/300868-REG/Porta_Brace_WBC_White_Balance_Card.html Balance your camera to this card every time before you shoot. This will get the white balance correct under any light conditions. Once you have your white balance locked down, get a gen and put it side by side with your rep bezel and then we can start comparing. Otherwise its hard to tell. jfreeman420
On the gen the numbers are filled with platinum so this is impossible to duplicate with paint. It needs to look bright white and metallic.
