SuperOcean Heritage stopped

Hi All,

I bought a SuperOcean Heritage from Silix a while ago now, which seemed to be losing 20 minutes or so every couple of hours. I got offered to return it but never got around to it in the end. Anyway some weeks later, the watch stopped and I haven't worn it since. I came across it this weekend and it's just screaming to be worn!

Does anybody know if someone is capable of repairing in the UK?

Thanks in advance,

David

Thanks for the swift replies. If it helps, I'm sure the watch is Swiss ETA-2824 and if I remember rightly, I paid around $250 for it. Not a big loss but I wouldn't mind seeing if there is a simple fix available.

Straight retail for a 2824-2 at Otto Frei is $130 USD ~ even if you had to replace the movement I bet labor and parts wouldnt be more than $200 USD.

It shouldn't cost near that much to have the movement serviced. Well less than $100, and you'll be good to go for another 5 years minimum.
