I thought that Rolex would take the old case as a condition of replacing the case?

Why would you want to replace a 1680 red case anyway? Does this make sense to anyone?

Depends on the RSC. US RSC's are controlled by Rolex USA. Bit stricter then others. I've heard that the Australia service centers are more lax. Easier to get parts.
