DSSD V5 on my wrist

So, it took me one month to choose between the Supreme and the V5.

I'll not say much more than Gioarmani did in his topic: "Stopped in the AD for a DeepSea"

That should be a copy and paste.

I'm really amazed by this DSSD OK, I dare: it's a Super rep.

This V5 is the closest rep you can find. I'm comparing it with pics of the gen for one hour and Istill can't believe that.

I wasn't sure to keep it for me (big size for my wrist) but I changed my mind.

Quick ugly Iphone shots:

Bright white pearl upgraded as described

Maybe too big for my wrist?

Still a lume difference between the hands and the markers

Close to my gen SMP the DSSD doesn't look so big finally?

I'll continue the review with "real" pics when I'll have a little more time.

IMHO if you wants a DSSD, go for the V5, you can't be disapointed

Looks awesome mart.

I often wondered how big it really was, but up against the smp it looks fine.

But then again it wasn`t really the width of the watch for me it was the depth...just thought it would sit up on my wrist like morning wood!!

It looks cool on your wrist though and a strong contender for a future purchase for me.

Looks like they nailed everything except the date window bevel, which even in the cell phone pics looks a little too big. But, that means 99.9999% of the people who will see it will think you just dropped 8k on a watch! Wear that bad boy well.

Overall, this piece is the one I've been the most satisfied with, out of any rep I've ever purchased.

The SEL/lug fit, the dial, the bezel, the band, and the sharpness & crispness of the corners--they really paid attention to detail in its construction. Congrats on your new piece.

That's an awesome review It's interesting to see the DSSD next to the SMP... In comparison to another watch, it doesn't look so huge anymore Wear it well

@ Mtv: Your worries about the depth of the watch are relevant Mart.

Depth is Humongous:

(Still with my SMP).

So, Ok It's a "must have" but before ordering it, be sure you can stand that depth..

I'm sure now that this watch is too huge for my wrist.

With sadness I sold it to another board member.

My last word (again), If your wrist is "XL or XXL" Don't think, Pull the trigger!!
