Just a few pics of my ongoing long term challenge/build...

I need to figure out a better solution for the bracelet. Unfortunately, the one fitted doesn't meet up with the lug holes too well; I'd like to get one that fits a bit snugger/flusher in the slots.

Thanks, gents :)

The dial is rep, but pretty dang close to gen...

Only real difference that I can tell from a quick look is that the number markers are a little further out from the square indicies. Aside from that, it's pretty close I think.

Hands are rep as well and all is fitted to an ETA 2824-2 :)

Bezel came with silver bezel screws; no plating here this time. The dial, hands and movement originally came in a case with gold/brass bezel screws. I would have used that case, except it wasn't quite finished completely; some metal flashings still left inside of the lug slots, which made the whole thing a write off :(

@archimede- I wish this case was constructed like gen, but unfortunately, it's not. The bezel is friction fit to the case; this one would be even nicer if it had the sandwich design :)

Thanks for looking!

Cheers,
