Date keeps blocking - Asian 7750 Tag Carrera

Hello,

The Tag Heuer Carrera I have is giving me some problems:

despite it keeps perfect time, despite it resets perfectly, the datewheel gets stucked.

At first it was only missing a half a day, for about 3 days a month.

Now it goes ok for about a week/month and the rest is just stucked.

I wanted to change the DW to get rid of this problem but I'm not sure it's the only issue.

Please help me get it look great again.

That is the right date wheel

I believe the problem is largely the result of adjusting the date between the hours of 7pm and 1am; during this time, the fixed gear for the datewheel engages with the hour wheel; manual adjustment of the date while the two are engaged causes damage to the movement.

That is really not good news.

I should probably find someone to fix it and service the watch.

What should I expect in terms of complexity and costs?

I have seen the ETA repair tutotial.

I will change the DW anyway. what other wheel is most probalby broken?

Are the missing teeth the reason why only some days do work?
