vlydog Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 What supplier has the best quality replacement hands. Clarks? Thank you
alligoat Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 Certainly Clarks are good- the lume is pretty decent, I used them on on my 16800 franken- not quite as bright as the Ziggy relumed matte dial, but still good. MKII sells a set of eta mercedes hands for around $45- supposed to be excellent lume, but haven't tried those yet.
vlydog Posted October 5, 2009 Author Report Posted October 5, 2009 Do you have a link for Clarks or a DBA
alligoat Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 nostalgia2000 on the bay. maybe he refers to them as Tudor hands for eta, or vice versa
highoeyazmuhudee Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 +1 for Clarks -1 for wholesale outlet as their hour hand isnt good enough
alligoat Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 Here they are in yellow: http://cgi.ebay.com/Hands-ETA-2824-2824-2-yellow-for-Rolex-Tudor-Submariner_W0QQitemZ250423057726QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item3a4e609d3e&_trksid=p3286.m20.l1116
vlydog Posted October 5, 2009 Author Report Posted October 5, 2009 I need them for a 16610 and will be using a 2836 ETA.
alligoat Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 That'll work. Just get the silver hands. All eta's take the same size hands (2824, 2836, 2846)- 90/150/25.
