Eton
So, I bought the 6.75 earlier this year and the movement has always been a bit twitchy (Dies frequently, stops, stutters, starts again). Compared to the other watches I have, it's really the only watch to cause problems (at this time). I just received my crystal back from Chief and I can't say it enough...FREAKING AMAZING...pics soon! What should I do with the movement...putting the stem back was a PITA...I've got it to a point of being able to adjust the time and date...but when I try to manually wind the watch to get it going, it's difficult or vice versa...so gearing issues...can't win! Getting a bit tired of the in and out motion, haha! Should I just get it serviced and call it a day? Or is there something else I can do? Thanks! Shundi
It's servicing time.... look on the bright side though- once serviced you shouldn't have any issues for 5 or so years...
Eton
Thanks, that's a good point! I guess it's bitter sweet...I was without the crystal for 5 months because of a coating issue...now that it's back...it's gonna have to leave again! Aaaaahhhhh! But it will be worth it in the end! Toadtorrent
If you go for servicing with somebody like The Zigmeister, he will give you an appointment time...you'll get notice when to ship it out, and you'll have it in your hands in 2-4 weeks depending on where you're located and mailing times. andreww
Sounds like you messed up the keyless works when you removed the stem. As the movement has been sketchy previously, it'd be a good time for a service. Your alternative would be to find a watchsmith to reset the keyless works for you. Eton
I was originally going to have it serviced back in May with The Zigmeister, but I got in for the AR run...so I didn't get it serviced! I live west of The Zigmeister, but I've got the request in for timelines...so we'll see! Thanks T!
Eton
Hey Andreww, I figured I did something wrong, it didn't seem as "together" when I took the stem out initially, as compared to my Navi which worked out fine (Pics soon as well).
