Questions on PAM 217

Could anyone confirm a couple of things for 217.

CG is brushed but pin is polished?

CG pin is slightly recessed in CG?

Movement inscriptions ARE upside down?

There is no AR in gen glass at all?

I have a few bits to put together, DSN dial, hands and movement, EL CG, EL caseback, Gen glass etc so just want to check these things.

Also if anyone has any other pointers it would be appreciated.

I am settling for the DSN dial I know its slighted flawed but I cant seem to find a better one at the moment

CG pin is slightly recessed in CG? Not by design - should be flush with CG Top like all PAM pins

Movement inscriptions ARE upside down? Movement inscriptions should be right side up as on Gen but only Little Hero has a correct movement to use for a rep

There is no AR in gen glass at all? Should be AR on this one. DSN used to sell Fiddy AR Crystals which will work

The pam217 is a VERY nice pam ( almost nicer than my All El fiddy ) and I got one from one member on the RG yesterday and it has the DSN saffire crystal on it and that AR coating does not look so good/nice as it is too blueish I think. But DSN have had different saffire crystals with different crystal shape so sometimes the distortion is to big I think! This is how my pam217 looks like!

My personal thinking is that the replica AR should be removed (my EL fiddy came without AR and that is a lot nicer!)

And in the catalouge it only says the crystal has antireflecting coating , not on wich side

Forgot to add a question!

Is there any different dials of the pam217 ?

Does it exist a EL 217 dial that is different from the other ones?

The fiddy has at least 4 different fontcolor/size!

The EL 217 dial has slightly lighter fonts compared to DSN's 217H. Only evident when comparing it side by side. Like the EL fiddy dials, its the best rep dial out there for a 217H.
