Guest TTK
I picked this up at the weekend....my heart fluttered and then died......! 1970's style Breitling Retro Navitimer.....fitted with Lemania working stopwatch........43mm X 13mm....sapphire glass front and rear......! Tis indeed a pity....! ***.....ANY WATCH YOU SEE ME POST HERE IN THE GALLERY IT IS NOT FOR SALE......****
Jetsons
That is indeed a pity Neil but someone had to do it. That's one fantastic looking piece of gear, sapphire and all. I'm not much of a modern Breitling fan but their vintage models were killer. Excellent snag! Everythingape
Beautiful watch! The "pillow"-shape watches are really growing on me, I used to be a straigh-run-of-the-mill round diver's watch kinda guy.. (Now I'm a gay-pillow-shaped ninny)
robertk
That's another great find! I'm curious? Do they go to the trouble of making just a few of these? and, if so, why? I assume the cost for designing and making the initial setup wouldn't justify the cost unless they make a bunch.
Antonio
Beautiful watch! Chronomerer?
ehtolcad
is it just me or is the chrono seconds off a tick?
chrgod
Well... I clicked on this post with hope of finally see a good Chronograph rep of a vintage Breitling... But, I have to admit that I dont recognize this model?? Nice watch, obviously great work done.. But to me the numbers looks more like as a Patek than a Breitling... and did Breitling even use display back then?? But.. I hope that this is a sign of things to come.. Vintage Breitlings rule!! Almost as cool as vintage Omega chronos! Edited September 2, 2006 by chrgod
