Rolex Submariner 16610 Black SS aka Noobmariner from ET

Hi everyone,

this is my second Rolex, I really like it. No problem so far with the swiss eta movement. But I did not open the caseback to check if its real swiss eta. I had to sharpen the edges of the bracelet and oil it.

Here are some pictures:

The "zit" pearl is begging for the "epoxy mod" but all-in-all Noobs look pretty good. You got one of the nice ones without the rehaut engraving, same as mine.

Bang for the buck..one of the better reps for sure. When ETZ gets it right, they do good. Looks like they did ok by you.

Yes the pearl is the only thing, that looks not that good for me personally^^

Where can I get a WM9 pearl, from BK? Is it easy to remove it?

The swiss eta still working very will :-)

Or you can do the "epoxy mod" in about 5 minutes for basically free. It did wonders for mine...

got mine today too. like you, i ordered it with gen eta movement, but couldn't proof it yet. but i guess we can trust the guys. i modded the bracelet like bk wrote in his tutorial and it feels realy good now. i hope you enjoy your noob...i love mine very much...but one thing is realy bad. i guess the rep-virus got me in his hands now...can't wait to buy another one :D

Its easier to swap the bezel? I have no experience with mods like this and dont want to do something wrong.

If you're only swapping the pearl, it's much easier to only swap the pearl :) All you need do, is pick out the existing pearl with a fingernail, then use a toothpick to dab epoxy round the inside edges of the hole in the bezel insert, then simply press the new pearl into place :) I find it best to rotate the entire bezel assembly for a few minutes just to be sure the epoxy doesn't lock it solidly in place :tu: Really very easy to do, best of luck :)
