bjl3910 Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 OK, this thing is awful. My first rep was not actually 8 months ago, but rather like 15 years ago. This is a Rolex rep I got when I was in NYC when I was 15. I think I paid $30 for it. Check out the band...I think its a fossil band. LOL. ANyway this is just for fun. I guess reps have come a long way, huh. The crown actually won't stay in anymore. LOL>>>
coolfire Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 Wow, love that rehaut.... and the coronet on the dial looks like it's having a hard-on! Yeah, reps have certainly come a long way, dude.
TeeJay Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 You could always re-case the movement and dial and make a project out of it
Toadtorrent Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 I had a VERY similar watch except on a TT jubilee and the same dial but in gold...bought late 80's in Toronto on Bloor St...boy...it sucked after a year...oxidization, worn gold...crappy...stupid me through it out AGES ago...should've kept it for posterity and reference. You've Come a Long Way Baby.
southcoast68 Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 I bet with a new battery, it would still keep time. Cheers

You've Come a Long Way Baby. You can have this one if you want it. Consider it a contribution to the history of our hobby. LOL. Seriuously though, you can have it. I'll even pay for the shipping. I want it gone, but can't bring myself to throw it away for some reason. LOL.
