lanikai Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 The crystal I see on the genuine Rolex Comex 1665... is this a T-19 ?? I like the look of this over the T-39 for the Comex Dial.. thought's ?? The gen Thanks for the support AC/Lani
ubiquitous Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 Yeah, that's the 'flat', current version of the T39. It has a nice dome profile to it, but it's a very conservatively curved profile and the edges sit higher off the bezel/case; not bubble shaped like the Superdomed 39. Here's some (old) pics of the last one I had: Personally, I like it better than the Superdome, but I think that's just me (most people seem to like the Superdome better, methinks).
lanikai Posted January 13, 2010 Author Report Posted January 13, 2010 Thanks guy's .. I also like it's profile over the superdome.. gotta check if Clarks makes these. edit add: found an after market one.. thanks Ubi, Tribal

lanikai Posted January 13, 2010 Author Report Posted January 13, 2010 That's the "superdome".. T-39 the one I want is a "flat" T-39.. the difference is in the domed profile.. which the Comex uses..I have the T-39 gen and Clarks on 2 of my 1665's.. but opt for the flat for a project I'm gathering parts for.. this one>Here
nick1972 Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 My bad, I thought you want the superdome.
