mastrmindalliance
Hi Guys, the impossible to pull out crown on my Speedmaster date is getting very annoying. I've searched but only found that a lot of them, if not all, share the problem. Does the gen crown and tube fix the issue? Is there another fix? I'm thinking I could file a bit of underside flat edge that the crown sits up against (just put a tiny 45 angle for the finger nail to get under), but would rather not... Thanks for any input! mastrmindalliance
Interesting... How does it work? Does it have little claws? Cheers!
offshore
Yep, just like a parts pickup claw, but small plastic grabbers...I sold one on Sunday to a woman with arthritis who had a tiny little dress watch, and couldn't grab the crown anymore. Works a treat. And I reckon it would solve your dilemma! O/S
mastrmindalliance
Done and pm'ing with another tool query... Thanks!
lanikai
fyi.. some makers made the rep without a little spacing on the underside of the case/crown.. this is on the genuine for the exact purpose of pulling out the crown..
