jdkno
Trying to figure out, how does the 1/10th scale work. I get that you rotate the red point of the bezel to line up with the stopped second hand, I do not know how they came to stop at the 8 mark in that video though. Also is it safe to assume since the calibre 36 is 36,000 vph vs. the 7750's 28,800 that the 1/10th counter would pretty much be useless, or atleast not accurate? Guest Sql_pl
It works like regular caliper. You put triangle where chrono sec hand stopped and look for point in which you get spot on line made by two markers.
Fitdiculous
lookin' to get this watch too but a bit worried about some of the concerns others had, specifically the thickness of the case, recessed date display and sharpness of the steel bracelet... unelss there's a newer version out?? also I've seen this watch with a white face as well but don't see it on the Tag site??? PPN
I'll admit, I'm on the fence about this one. I love the design, but the datewheel, thickness, and AR (does the gen have double AR?) seem to keep me on the fence. Did those factors bother you at all? Did those factors bother you at all? +1 ...I'm on the fence too, I almost pulled the trigger on this rep last week but after reviewing a few threads on another forum I've decided to hold off. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Quote: Originally Posted by Grand Sport View Post Okay, update: I've been loving the watch so far. It eventually did stop, a few minutes later, but I can't return the hand to the set point. Additionally, it is no longer ticking, it doesn't wind anymore, and... basically it's stopped working altogether, and after only a few days of use. I've contacted Nikkita at Puretimewatch to see what we can do about this. If any of you are planning to buy this watch, do yourself a favor and don't use the chronograph more than once. What did you end up doing with your watch? did you repair it or get a replacement? Quote: Originally Posted by ALE7575 View Post I have had the same problem with mine!! Perhaps the special second @9 system?? Well, as ALE7575 said... I have the same problem with this watch in less than 2 weeks of use. It's a great watch but movement is trash. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I'm thinking about getting the Quartz version in the Asian7750 casing and SS Bracelet from timeshops.net since it's only $108. I'd hate to pay for the high grade rep then have it crap out on me so soon. Sql_pl -- I know this is an old thread but I'd love to hear how the watch is holding up and if you had to have it serviced yet?
