goin6633
Hi all , I just been asked form a friend to search for a PAM087 , and I want to thanks Polo do his best to find one for me . He told me this PAM087 was found in stock form another dealer , the one and the last . After a week for the shipping , it arrived finally . So , lets check the original look when I got it . And take a look about my PAM087 with the new one . You can see the original lume color is too green for a C-series T-dial PAM . So it 100% needs to have a relume work . Just take off the CG & corwn at first . Set the movement well and take off the hands . Put the A7750 movement in the movement box and leave the dial and hands for relume . Remove the original lume on the hands . Destroy the lume pearl on the bezel , I have to rebuild it to make the color looks the same . Next , prepare the lume powder and dye for tinting . I usually mix C3 and a little orange lume powder then tinting them to yellow like this . Relume the hands Relume the dial , the first picture is for you to compare the original and after , big different . Fill the lume pearl with the rest lume pigment . After it dry , I will fill the clear varnish to make it looks like a glass on it . Next , I will do some works on the CG . Separate the CG like it . Polish the CG pin (I forget to take the pics) , and also add a small o-ring to make the CG tighter . Set the dial and hands on the movement . Put it back the the case and also serew the movement ring back . After screw up the CG , the PAM087 is done . Check the pictures after relume and CG moded . How do you feel about it ? Drulee
Nice work, but what did you use to apply the lume with? And exactly how did you remove the old lume from the hands?

TK471
I think it looks really, really good. I've always liked the 87 -- it's one of my favorites. Let me know if you ever want to get rid of one....
